I'm using it. I used the 20130723 firmware for a couple of hours and switch to this latest one. I didn't notice any performance differences.

I finally got my 3 module Asic today. Order #67xx. So far everything works perfectly. It was delivered to EU, luckily Avalon had put USD value on the box in addition to the BTC invoice, so customs used that value. The hassle with customs was therefore minimal.

I just added a 4th Batch#3 module to my 3 module Batch#3.
I am using a 850w Seasonic Gold P/S
Status MHS5s MinerCount AsicCount Frequency Fan1 Fan2 Fan3 Temp1 Temp2 Temp3 NMW Firmware Alive 72942.16 24 10 325 2400 0 2520 28 65 57 2 20130723
Is the 24 Minercount and 10 asicCount #s right for a 4 module?
It does not seem they are right.

a 850W Gold Seasonic should be enough to run 4 modules, right? I put 2x 4pin CPU connectors in there or 1 x 8 pin CPU power connector and the IDE looking cable in there, right? It should auto detect the 4th module after reboot right? Or is there a command I need to set 32 for minercount? **EDIT** ok set 32 for minercount manually. hashes are now 107-110 GH/s Thank You S M I L Y.

If you want to run at frequency of 325, better use a PSU no less than 1000W. Not only for stable, but also for safety.

i am in the process of water cooling my unit. Will try and get past 350mhz soon.
The thermal/mechanicals on this thing are horrific! You can actively watch the PCB bow up from the heatsink as the ASICs start hashing!!
I will post pictures of my solution once it is all finished.

I have a box fan on my batch #3 avalon with the lid off. batch #3 unit now has 4 modules and I lifted it off the ground and put it on a wooden chair. Doing 350 (insane) all 4 modules; 850w Gold Power Supply; The 4 units are hashing at 112.5GH/S stable for the last 4 hours. I didn't get my unit so far or haven't gotten my refund. They are impossibly slow. Big minus from me for the avalon company.

I would get something big enough that your not over 80% load. You get a better efficiency the closer you get to 50-60% load.
Are you using a power meter? 1350W is insane overkill for a 3 module avalon. Buy a power meter and see how much it's actually using.

A good power supply should simply shut off it gets into the danger zone.
