Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Over one MONTH between posts and this is on a Bitcoin forum, even if it's primarily the BorgstreamAxaLizard version. That has to be some sort of record.
And for this Bitcoin I can see the halving being dangerous for its health. Miners are not exactly flocking to it as is.
