I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.

I guess,  the law of the government should follow.  We need to do it to be more peaceful and to develop a good and very abiding citizen. In order for us to live in a very good nation.

Now the vast majority of the countries have removed death penalty from the list of punishments that may be given to the criminals. And in most of the cases, this is having negative consequences. The crime rates are shooting up, and the criminals are no longer afraid to commit horrific crimes.

But sometimes I think it is a waste of taxpayer's money to feed criminals in jails.
not all criminals but especially those who committed murder or rape.
They don't deserve to live in a jail, having meals made with tax money.

Death penalty does not make evil people into saints. For that reason, a bloody horrible criminal must serve his sentence in a solitary till the end of his life. He must stew in his own juice. I am sure that death penalty is a gift for these bloody criminals.

Say the same thing when some criminal murder your loved ones. If the god is incapable of protecting someone from the criminals, then he should stay the fuck out if that criminal is getting a death penalty. You should keep religion out of law enforcement.

As human who can see what the criminals did, we want them to be put to death as punishment for their sins. We want to eliminate those wicked people so that they can no longer repeat such cruelty.  But God teaches us to love the sinners as much as we love ourselves. We should demonstrate the love that God gave us. We should give them a chance to change and to live a new life. In order to do this, we have to learn how to forgive and forget and leave it to the Lord. God is a just God. Do not put the justice into our hands. Let God do it.

Yes, I do agree that we just borrowed our lives from God.
But a part of me also agrees on death penalty. Many people do crimes, they do not fear God so keeping peace and order, law enforcement should take in charge instead. Death penalty will also serves as a scare for a lot of people to prevent doing crimes. However, there should be a tough investigation whether the people in inquiry is guilty.

Or rather the government should just come up with a punishment better than taking lives and prisons. And just let God decide to their fate.

I actually believe that penalty give depends on how big or heavy the sin is. So i'd say yes for those who do rape and murder, because it is a horrific incident. But before you give penalty to the person make sure that there are evidences and proof that he/she do that crime so that there is no innocent person will punish because of the wrong accusation.

Death penalty is the worst punishment here on earth. Taking someones life is not good for God. i think lifetime imprisonment is better than taking someones life. When frame up is appearing in this world death penalty in useless.

I do not agree with the death penalty. It is inhumane. As a society, we have to protect life. Besides, I think a life sentence, life term in prison, is more sensible in extreme cases involving very harmful individuals. A life sentence should be reserved for those people WHO really are harmful to society, though. Death penalties are being used in circumstances that are really not warranted (e.g. drug possession/distribution charges)

In principle, I do not agree with the death penalty. But, one thing that does make me re-think the issue is the cost involved in keeping someone in prison for a lifetime. Is that really justifiable? Should we really put so much value on human life as to burden the state with costs of keeping the person alive for a lifetime? I am not sure. An alternative would be not to keep anyone in prison for so long, and there are arguments in favour of this. However, some individuals are simply too dangerous to be let out. What to do with them?

There is actually. It's called "MDMA in the ground water" and/or raising children properly so they'll raise decent children. Easier said than done though.

I agree, it's all about upbringing. many programs analyze the behavior of maniacs and murderers, and everything comes down to the problems of childhood, psychological trauma, that is, not proper education. Therefore, when the society will interisovatsya how to properly educate children, and learns this, there will be less killers and maniacs in the world. So educate the children correctly and the question of the death penalty will not stand.
