Why do many projects have a relationship with decentralization? Game + decentralized how to understand?

we can't tell why other projects use blockchain, unfortunately. However, let us explain why Dmarket is based on the technology. We'd like to point out that decentralization applies to virtual assets trading, not the games itself.

Decentralization principle of blockchain is a key feature for a couple of things:

1. When your in-game items stored on the blockchain, you become a real owner of the assets, meaning you are free to trade exchange and evaluate on any platform. You won't have any limits regarding the place you can sell your items.

Currently, you have a very limited number of options on what to do with your virtual assets. With DMarket you will be able to trade and exchange your items on any platform, that uses our API.

The market is huge as of now, but only 6% of gamers can trade items. We want to change this!
