200 ETH was soft cap and 1k ETH is hard cap. If they reach 1k ETH it will stop after that.

I had a quick look at monetha ANN. The OP looks pretty promising.

The two don't seem to be competing directly.

I'll probably take part in kickico ICO. Not sure about monetha, I would have to do more research about them. Definitely go through the whitepaper before doing any investments.

I guess since Kick intends to be an ICO platform, it's in your interest to partner up with Bancor since they claim the ability to increase ICO tokens liquidity. Bancor is yet to deliver on the aforementioned but then again Crypto dev is still in its infancy. it's a smart partnership, am interested to see how that works out in the future.
