Just look at the success of crowdfunded projects like for example Pillars of Eternity. Without investors who are trying to alter or change your initial idea, your so much more free in your decisions! This looke like a really great project!

Yes, crowdfunding is great when it comes to freedom of choice. No big publisher breathing down your neck, shooting down ideas that they deem outdated, ahead of time or not mainstream enough.

But let's not underestimate having thousands of backers to answer to. If things don't turn out as promised, reviews will be scathing. And in some cases the pledges are only part of the total budget, supplemented by their own reserves or by other publishers.

Finally, you also have to consider that Pillars of Eternity was made by a veteran team with a huge following. There's no guarantee the same success happens if you're a newcomer to the industry. Although Palmer Luckey of Oculus was one such lucky individual.

Will the updated cap be posted in that same blog or noted on the ICO page?  Will it remain hidden?  I saw that you will announce when it is close.. where should we monitor for that announcement?

What is source of this news if you look over the pitch than it seems it is around 200k ETH. This is still mysterious what is hidden cap of this crowdsale.

Does anyone know when pre-ico participants get their tokens? I visited the websites FAQ and they say that they had to switch the contract address, but it doesn't show any tokens for me when adding it to my wallet?

New tokens will be sent to all participants of preICO 2-3 days after the ICO ends.
