Some people love to gamble and that is nothing wrong with that. I love to gamble as well but not to get money but only for fun. I know that some people see this as a wrong thing to do but for me as long as Im not spending alot of money then I feel that everything is fine. The investment part is only with the casino bankrolls but don't think that it's an investment when you have deposited to your balance in gambling site. Many are mislead with that thing that they are investing into a gambling site by just doing that and gamble with that money. And that's the only benefit I can see in gambling is when you are an investor, you'll just wait for the profit you have invested to their bankroll.

I doubt gambling is the platform to learn control for money.  Yes I agree we need to control money in gambling, but it does not teach us to control them wisely.  We just figure it out ourselves.  The thing that is beneficial is when you wanted to releive your self of stress.  Gambling is a good place to go since there are people who are to interact with you and play the game with you.

Gambling is really more on losing stake, some people says that being lucky is not true, but I know that lucky is there. If you are lucky you can win often in playing gambling, I experience it one time that I just try to gamble and just enjoy, but suddenly I won so I want to play again just to continue of having fun, but I just won again so maybe that is just my lucky day, cause most of the time when I play I am always losing.  So being lucky for me if true.

Basically, there are none IMHO.
While you conduct gambling taking profits as perspective and gambling as a way to survive, mark my words that you will never win your whole life (means you will remain in loss even after your wins) because it's such a greedy activity that possesses you very badly that you obsessively gamble too much once you see yourself winning. I too agree that gambling will not teach anything to manage money but it will always teach people how to find ways to spend money on these games instead of using it for other good things.

Even though profit is the advantage but the kind of risk one needs to take is too high and there is no assurance that you will win. So I feel we should consider gambling is a paid fun activity and should fix some amount for it to get these enjoyments.

I have a little different opinion as a matter of fact. Gambling can teach us some life lessons like there is no easy way of earning and how to control one's emotions in all sort of situations. Gambling is a fun game so it must be played only for seeking pleasure. It is a good activity for spare time if played not very often. Otherwise, becoming its victim takes no time.

The hard part of gambling is being not able to control your emotions so you may end up wasting money time and money in an activity that is not beneficial anymore. Gambling do benefits me in a way, especially Mentally and Emotionally. Mentally, As a teenager who started to gamble at the age of 15. I don't care about losing, I don't value money. But as I grow, Gambling did really change my perspective towards money and decision making. I became more mature and I must say that I did enhance my strategic awareness. Emotionally, I must say that gambling did really control my temper. I don't why, but whenever I play poker my state of mind became so calm. Even after I lose or win I'm calm and happy. At the age of 19, I learn how to control myself. Mistakes are part of our life which really is good set back for a good comeback!.

I couldn't say it benefited me in terms of personality development since i'am the kinda guy who rarely gets angry or upset over something whatever was it's value or importance . My main hobby is fishing in that alone taught me patience which is to me the most valuable quality in life . As for gambling it made me realize how important the money i make through working hard and that i shouldn't spend it on gambling unless i'm sure it will pay off and absolutely certain that i'll win , so the only benefits i got from gambling were financial .

The benefits that i only see in gambling are fun, entertainment and relaxation. But still you must set your limit in gambling if you want to enjoy these benefits or else you will get the opposite if you reach beyond of your limit.
