i would go with BTC as it is a stable and settled digital cryptocurrency that has a decentralised nature . It has many advantages like the transaction fees is very low as compared to other methods worldwide , it cannot be stolen like any other physical currency can , no one can see our transaction and know our balance , no third party like banks and all can see our transactions , no one can freeze bitcoins ,they are user friendly .
while ethereum is still a developing project , i would use them only for investment , it has the potential to rise , it is said to be the next after BTC.
I bought a lot of ethereum for transactional fees because at this time many markets are based on ethereum. I still prefer bitcoin because it is the most stable, no one doubts this and I will not shake and always adjust to market conditions, now bitcoin prices are down and this is the right time to buy more. |

People always said that ETH will be the next Bitcoin. Since Bitcoin is having major updates, will ETH will launch into the moon, soon?
I dont have so much money to invest. That is why i profer to risk more and invest on less known altcoins not bitcoin or ethereum. Bitcoin and ethereum have a potential for x2 or maximum x3 for next year. But there are so many good project that can make x10 even more next year. I prefer to invest on them... |

As ETH brought me into the crypto world due to its possible future prospects - and as it offers many new possibilities for programmers - I would say ETH! BTC is fine and I also knew about it for years, but it kind of never really got to me.

Eth is the second altcoin after bitcoin for me. Both are very good to invest. You will get a lot of advantages from both. But if we vote on both of these coins .. the votality of bitcoin is bigger than eth ... it means bitcoin user is bigger than eth .. so i think it is not possible eth will beat bitcoin or even replace it. Many eth users are selling their coins for bitcoin to make them easier to make a profit. Because bitcoin is more easily fluctuate in price ..

I prefer to buy and use mainly bitcoin. Ethereum is also a great coin, but I mostly like using it as an altcoin, and investment tool, but not as my main currency.
I would suggest you experiment with a bit of both. Both are great for investment and have its ups and downs. At the end of the day it all comes down to what you want to use it for.

You may be right about the ease of transactions but aren't we also talking of the values these two coins hold? We should also be concerned with how fast they appreciate in monetary terms. I think at this time the race is between Bitcoin and Bitcoincash, not with Ethereum. |

I don't really agree to that coz BTC is very stabilized now & going strong day by day. It goes up from 2k USD to 3k then now 4k, I believed and I hope it will reach 5k USD end of this year.

I prefer BTC to stay BTC and other coins like ETH to be what they will be. Each is different with different uses.
Yes, I prefer bitcoin compared to ethereum, although ethereum has a very good update and has handled many platforms, Bitcoin also "already" has the ethereum have now, starting from technology and platform so bitcoin will be better. |

For me it should be bitcoin,why?Because its the most popular and mpst famous cryptocurrency that the worl is having today.Just like the other Cyptocurrency bitcoin can do alot of things but bitcoin had make a lot of things and effective to many.Ethereum is good and has large amount anfd value but it is just starting not like bitcoin that is well known.

I agree on that i prefer also bitcoin because bitcoin have many potential and its better bitcoin to hold. Ether is also good almost projects now they use ether contract they see also the good potential on ether. Oh I love them both so no need to choose. Bitcoin is the dominant and eth is the sub. They have their own characteristic that we love. Bitcoin as being decentralized and ethereum have a smart contract. Having same support in the cmmunity made them stabilize. |

ETH has no utility except ICO scams. It has yet to show any potential. It's blockchain will soon be larger than Bitcoin's. ETH has nothing but problems...
