No doubt that it is buying time but problem is shortage of money to buy with. This is summer which is vacations time and those who invested already are in minus and remained with hands to mouth due to unexpected bear market which isn't showing any sign of recovery. How many people can really afford to pick up more tokens now after this long uncertainty.

Hi all! I wonder why the ROI of GAS is decreasing over time, isn't it fixed to a certain % amount? Thanks!
I think the main reason might be that the block time seems to have gone up. It used to be around 20 seconds and now it hovers around 25 seconds. Not sure why though.  |

NEX will be a security. ETF's have been trying to get over the line for years - literally, not sure why everyone was so convinced it was happening this month. Also NEX will be a security which can attract regulated institutional money and is only on NEO.

My NEO is on the Ledger Nano S. Is it safe during the fork?
Technically, your NEO is on the blockchain, the (encrypted) private keys to access your NEO addresses are on the Ledger Nano S. As long as nobody else gets a hold of your private keys/passwords/seeds/pins your coins are safe. |

I have bought it much more expensive and I'm thinking to buy some more now when it's cheaper. When do you think it will be the bottom? Any ideas with some data to support it?

I own it but don't forget there is risk, a new Politbiro Chairman comes onbard and goes Stalin on cripto and you can kiss your Neo goodby. But short of that it's a great buy long term. In the short I don't know. |

Is there a problem with the NEO-GUI wallet v2.7.6, for me it has got stuck on block 2623809.
The 'Chain' and 'Index' folders are updating but the block number and 'Transaction History' are not; Transaction History is stuck at '09/08/2018 02:30:03'.

Is there a problem with the NEO-GUI wallet v2.7.6, for me it has got stuck on block 2623809.
The 'Chain' and 'Index' folders are updating but the block number and 'Transaction History' are not; Transaction History is stuck at '09/08/2018 02:30:03'.
From the announcements channel in discord:  In text for clickable links: @everyone NEO network working well now. If anyone has syncing problem(stuck with 2623809), please delete old blockchain data and download latest offline blockchain data package( https://neo.org/client/chain.zip) (MD5 of this chain.zip is 06ea9760c317b3693c758bbc07b0ad96). Resync the blockchain will solve this problem. Also, 2 things have been done to make syncing data more easily. 1. NGD run 10 new seed nodes which have been synced to the latest height to help community node maintainers to connect with. http://seed1.ngd.network/... http://seed10.ngd.network/Please check this instruction for reference.( http://docs.neo.org/zh-cn/node/cli/seedlist.html) 2. We add a new web page( http://sync.ngd.network/) for people to download offline packages which can be used to boost the syncing process. Later we'll change it to https and add MD5 hash. |
