i appear to be syncing for the most part... stuck at 125108, which as far as I can tell was the last block found on the network

I'm on version v0.9.0.0-swashbuckler and synced fine it seems with 24 connections....but confirmations are slow as mole asses.....still waiting for confirmations from yesterdays transactions.

my question isnt that the blocks are slow its why does my client say its out of sync at the current block (now 125108 with 7 connections)

Wish the dev would do some work on this coin. Changing the retarget time would be good to start

I`m mining over 3hrs my 7970 (~700kh) and still not make a block.
On this diff it should be like 2 hrs...
Something is really wrong there.

For Doubloons to succeed it needs a team for marketing, volunteers and investors that contribute to the coin' development.
A rumour on Cryptsy that DBL is dying is false, the dev is not giving up or abandoning this coin at all, I have verified that and got a clear message, so if there is trouble we can expect a medicine.

The success lies in the hands of people who are willing to do something for it to make it work. Like all altcoins there should be ways of using the coin, acceptance as payment for services and in general active promotions on forums and discussion on the major exchanges about Doubloons.

Doubloons could use an official website as well and with a little more serious approach.

Implementation in a game or software could do miracles.

If you have anything to offer to add value to this coin then please contribute or even adopt the coin yourself. As a decentralized coin no one specific is responsible for it's growth but the community itself. The fact is: We got a coin and it's technically solid, now what are we gonna do with it!

Please brainstorm ideas and if possible take action.
