Just joined the forum but want to say I am very happy to be involved in this launch and see huge potential for this currency going forward! Have spent considerable time today talking to investors in the tech space who are taking a serious and very interested look at the ICO.

Crypto currencies are a very hot topic with gaming operators right now and interest in them and usage of them will only increase with time and Electroneum is incredibly well placed to take advantage of that

Hi,

You must join the ICO at https://my.electroneum.com/register

That will create you a MOBILE ETN wallet, which you'll be able to access and control via the APP (currently released on android and in the play store - coming soon for iOS).

The app is currently just counting down to the ICO and then the full release of the code to manipulate the blockchain with transactions and mining experience will go live on 1st November.

Here's what will go live on 1st November:

1. All purchased ETN from the ICO will arrive in your online wallet.
2. You will have access to make transfers to other ETN addresses
3. We have one confirmed exchange on board and will be bringing more on as quickly as we can
4. The mobile miner will go live - allowing mobile devices to earn coins.
5. Our windows, Mac and Linux miners will be available from the first minute of 1st Nov (UTC)
6. Our mining pool will be live and visible, and documented, allowing people to connect.
7. We will release our mining pool code into our open source GitHub allowing other mining pools to set up in competition
8. Our blockchain API integration software will go live allowing merchants to integrate into their apps and software products.

The Electroneum blockchain has been spawned and tested hundreds of times on our development rack but we will clear it down so as of the 1st minute of Nov 1st the LIVE Electroneum blockchain will appear on the internet via two seed servers hosted at Amazons AWS. There will only be the pre-mine, there won't be any other transactions, so the early miners will do very well!!  Our entire infrastructure runs on Amazon AWS and our experience of building the Retortal technology stack means we know it is extremely robust.

I'll give a full update closer to the time, but we have everything in hand and the technology is well tested, we are still making all user interfaces prettier - but it will all be finished ready for release in good time.

Its not per dollar, its per BTC. 100 to 150 PER BTC. I mentioned that it should be that you get the % of coins in ICO based on % of investment in ICO. The way it is now, it seems too expensive to me.

Don't panic! The coins are NOT priced in BTC! That would be expensive!

If you log in to the https://my.electroneum.com ICO manager you'll see it all clearly laid out.

ETN coins are priced at $0.01 cent each - with a 50% bonus in week 1 of the ICO reducing by 10% per week during the ICO period.

That means you get 150 ETN coins per dollar in week one, 140 in week two etc.

You might want to check that statement against the total coins of some of the top ten coins


There was some confusion as to the price per coin during the ICO, there were rumors that it was $40 a coin, but you have it correct, its $.01 per coin.

No one has had a problem once that was cleared up. It will easily rise to over a penny after launch.

Value is established based on the dev team in place, which are top notch, real world marketers, and also the power of their message matters. These are people that know how to take thier message mainstream.

Their message and plan is solid, which also points to a much higher value than a penny. There have been many recent projects with less, that have had success in creating growth and profits for initial investors.

This one really is a no brainer, research the project and you will see it looks to be solid investment.

Get back to me if you disagree after doing your research, Id like to hear why, because it looks like a winner from where Im standing.

I have some problem using the app:

When I firstly try to login, it keeps loading and don't go ahead. If i close the app when I reopen it show the loading page and don't even show me the login page and if I minimize and then reopen I got a blue screen.

I think that the project will be a great success! Battery technology for smartphones is moving forward. There are already 10000 mAh. And these smartphones are very affordable ($ 150-200). Many will participate in the Electroneum. I believe in it!

Isn't it kinda counter intuitive to release a coin for mobile only and then let PCs mine as well? PCs have so much more computing power, the phone miners won't have much share in this....

Sure its true that the mining on PCs will be more effective than mining on a phone. The idea, as I understand it, is that the mobile mining will be more of an entry point for non-crypto users to mine coins.

Once they see real coins coming into their wallet from the mobile mining, and see how the concept works, many will then take the next step further into the crypto world by then learning how to mine with their computer and/or buying coins on an exchange.

Remember, we are not talking about people who are already a part of the crypto community.

We are talking about people that come into contact with Electroneum through more traditional marketing methods.

This is what the crypto community has been trying to do since Day 1, which is find a way to bring crypto to the masses.

Ask yourself this. Which would be easier to get a regular Joe involved in, this plan, or Bitcoin?
