While I consider that unlikely, it still can happen.

I was just commenting this on another thread but I will flesh it out a bit more here.


The price SHOULD decline for the next few weeks to few months, start to level off around month 3 or 4, then if the community sees value in it, steadily climb(or it could be pumped up too since it is cheaper to do).

So the reason I say that is because the Supply is at an all time high. Imagine if all of a sudden there was double the amount of BTC available. What would happen?The Supply rose by a lot and is too much while the Demand is still the same. So the price very likely and SHOULD fall in the short term(until the demand/supply ratio balances better).

Does that make sense? It is a very simplistic view I agree, but one I think we should take in to consideration.

You ask whether to buy now or later? Be glad you didn't buy in when it was around 600 USD. Now it is about 280 USD. It should go lower for another few weeks at least.

If you really want to buy in, don't buy a lot, becuase you will be holding it for the short term and the mid term at least, at the most you will have to hold for years.

My prediction is that it will bottom out below 0.04 before bouncing back and staying at the 0.05-0.1 range in the medium term.

Yes. I would do the same.
Why hold on something that does not have a clear future?
Might as well cash it into bitcoin then just work on it instead of stressing out how much it will be worth in a month or two from now?
It is just ridiculous if you ask me.
Who needs the extra stress in their lives.

Atleast with bitcoin you know what you are getting into and have gone through the ups and the hard times with it already.
Not with this new thing that wishes to replace it.

I think you're right - it certainly looks now that it's slowing down as it hits 0.1, and maybe will stop/bounce around 0.04/0.05.

Hype on BCH is not the same with the hype of other altcoins that can considered as good for long term holding. For now, Im not considering to put money on BCH since I don't see a majority support here, in other words, I don't know when or how it will be pumped again. Honestly other altcoins are more on hype rather than this coin.

But Im not closing my doors. My decision not to put money here is applied just for now. Who knows later on, let's see.

Even though BCH price is falling, but I'm not interested to buying it. Despite the media talking about BCH does not guarantee that coins will be good in the future. Some say, there are no BCH miners and only chinese miners are not decentralized and BCH is not true crypto, so I'm worried and afraid to believe and buy BCH.

Once confirmations stabilize and a majority of exchanges accept deposit/withdrawals, and everyone actually HAS their coins on the exchanges = that's when I think you'll see a true price formation. So imo there's still room for it to go down atm. In time they may indeed go for a run with this but it's not going to happen anytime soon.

this is the correct answer. the price is crazily distorted still.

there will be a pump from hell eventually. it's too damned tempting for people, but it ain't coming while everything is being straightened out. the only way is down for now but if you don't feel that you can always dollar cost average.

Everyone were thinking about Bitcoin in the initial time and who holded the Bitcoins at that initial time are now king. Same story is going to be repeated on BCH, their are so many ups and downs it has to face but if you see in long term like 2 or 3 yrs of time you will surely get a good result of profit.

In my opinion, now is not a good time to buy Bitcoin Cash as most of Bitcoin holders are selling their Bitcoin Cash to earn a quick profit. Soon this will be over and after that Bitcoin Cash price will increase gradually. That time will be the best time to buy Bitcoin Cash.

I think that that BCH is a bad buy at the moment....the network is barely even producing blocks meaning that there is zero liquidity to the network at the moment....the only coins on the exchanges were the people who had BTC on those exchanges and received BCH....as soon as any mining power goes to BCH and difficulty goes down...lots of liquidity will come back and tons of supply will be dumped.

Buy in a month.

I would certainly wait and see. I was going to sell when it was 0.1 and now I wished I had. Prob bit late to cash in now.
