It would be great if one of the 11th of March Stake race winners, could share with us if they lost more coins on the wagering than they won with the race? I see Bonzo wagered almost $87 000 and he or she won about $300 worth of Ripple. There are 20 winners, so at least one of them can share their experience with us?  (By my conservative calculations and lots of guess work, he might have lost close to $2000 on that kind of wagering?)

If none of the 20 winners want to share their experience, it will be nice to find out from the other people who participated, to see if they lost more money than what was on offer for the +/- $300 winning prize. 

This trend is very high that the winners do not share their experience with us. It is very encouraging for he others when they see people winning and this will also create wish and temptation in their mind to do more wagering, but unfortunately people hide their winning for many different reasons.

I don't know how the numbers for stake is doing and if they are still profiting quite well or not. However, it looks like either their own forum worked out or they are not really doing as well as they used to. I mean looking at the topic you will see that most of the messages are either symphonized writing useless stuff that nobody cares about, or people complaining.

I mean symphonized has done that before so that is not the issue here but there is no one defending stake anymore, that is the weird part, normally when a bad thing happens and there is a complaint there would be heaps of people rushing here to defend stake, not anymore. I really do suggest stake getting a good PR person and a marketing team to turn things around or the competition will keep on getting bigger and bigger.

I think it's because some of the things are discussed on their own forum and about the complaints are you referring to bobby's bet that was returned? The rules were already mentioned so there's really not much to say or add regarding his case. And by having less forum discussion on their ann thread doesn't mean stake is slowly losing players I still see them have an average of 1k players every day.

I cant say that symphonized writing useless post that nobody cares about. Probably you think like this because no one replied his post in this thread. His posts are useful and informative as most of them related to the on going events at Stake.
I have to agree with ralle14, Stake has many ways to solve any issues. This thread is one of the available ways but I believe the most effective way for players to solve an issue (if any) is by contacting live support or vip manager (telegram) and their own forum is also one other way to get in touch with the admin where there is an issue.
I do believe Stake's management is aware about the competition very well and they will do their best for it.

Numbers from both Primedice and Stake are fine, if you have watched Edward's stream this Saturday you would listen him mentioning some actual stats from when losing money was a thing and now it's back to a positive state. (You can also check Online numbers from chat even if they are bank accounts or multi accounts - meaning Gamblers do care)

About not defending stake anymore that's not true...
I can only reply to questions i have the answers to else i will always forward your doubts to any Support or Edward immediately.

There were 2 cancelled in the last two weeks. The first with Arsenal and then the second with Burnley. They were meant to play these 2 games to catch up with Liverpool (as they have 2 games in hand). In fact I remember this because if they had lost those 2 games, they would have handed the title to Liverpool without them even kicking a ball.

I guess the whole point of marketing is to create more users. Why would stake or any other place would show everyone "here is a dude who won 20 bitcoins, but he also lost 30 as well until he got this", that makes no sense. Not that every person who has won so far has lost more, sometimes people do actually win more than they gambled in the short term, that type of thing happens.

However, the more common version is people gambling and losing all their winnings in the end, that is a known thing if you keep gambling all the time. So, you have to assume that part when you see someone winning a lot. Doesn't matter if it is competition, or race, or promotion, or just regular old gambling, you will see people with big wins but most people end up losing.

@plast555 yea we will have to wait till April to find out if all sports will resume or no, and if they don’t it’s going to be a long wait because no one knows when they’ll resume again. Also I don’t think the online gambling industry will suffer any losses as people will wager on dice or blackjack, but land based casinos will definitely suffer losses.

If gambling was a stock it would be considered a risk-on type of stock. Generally in bear markets and recessions people don't buy risk-on assets they usually stay cash , buy gold, etc. People assumed Bitcoin was risk-off but that obviously is not the case.

There are still the mega wealthy that will gamble but you need to understand for everybody else they will probably either stop gambling completely or reduce their bet size. This is to be expected. It's industries such as this that suffer the most usually during recessions. Along with other industries such as luxury goods, automobiles, diamond industry, etc.

It affects almost everything in this world including gambling activity no matter online or offline. Obviously, offline gambling industry has bigger effect compared to online gambling as people still able to access it without going out their home but of course people who lives in a red zone of the virus will be focusing on their daily life first and they may leave gambling for a while. At least they wont gamble as much as before. Lets hope there will be fast and effective way to fight against the virus.
