I mean the whole marketing effort, as you are the face here you do get some backlash for that as well. Probably he misread it so he thinks that the withdrawal fee is 50k satoshi while in fact it is 5k satoshi only. I do not remember if it was free in the past, if Dalmar says that it was free then he must be a very old player here who have experienced the free withdrawal (if it was exist).

It is definitely 5k to withdraw but to be perfectly honest with you even 50k wouldn't all that shocking in crypto world and that is why he probably mixed it with other places. There are tons of places all around the crypto world (mainly exchanges) that charges ton of money, I have seen a place with 100k satoshi withdrawal cost, 100k! that was highest I have seen in a long time.

Obviously, if you are an earlier investor you can remember times we paid 0.01 for transactions as well, those were some difficult days. However stake is not like that, it is only 5k here and few other places as well and it is one of the (if not the most) lowest withdrawal fee's I have seen around, they are not aiming at profiting from withdrawal and do it the right way for the people who want their money.

There are tons of places all around the crypto world (mainly exchanges) that charges ton of money, I have seen a place with 100k satoshi withdrawal cost, 100k! that was highest I have seen in a long time.

Exchanges does have crazy high withdrawal charges and they will not even use those amounts collected from the user as transaction charges when they are transacting and since no one is complaining about those they are still continuing to carry on that practice but that is not the case with gambling sites.

Obviously, if you are an earlier investor you can remember times we paid 0.01 for transactions as well, those were some difficult days.

People used to consider that as dust transaction in the beginning and the price was not that huge during that period and hence it is nothing huge as majority did not even bother about the transaction charges during the initial period. I did not understand the difficulty part you are talking about .

Yeah I was just focusing on getting myself engaged in something and it turned out so well. Doubled my deposit and have good amount of raffle tickets. Passed 2 ranks and got good amount of bonus. So having a good day at Stake.

Just now fixed that. I actually was using a crappy browser which doesn't gives an option to switch to other app supporting that link. Switched my browser to Chrome and problem solved.

Omega already answered but I would like to add on to the first one, if you stay inactive for a month you will get nothing so being a VIP would basically mean nothing but since it is a life time thing when you become VIP, that means if you are inactive for a month and get nothing you can follow that up with another month being active and get something in return, you can be inactive for a year and get nothing but when you return you will get the rewards for it when you become active again. So, it is lifetime to be a VIP but requires activity to get something.

Also, there are races almost all the time, if you want something and you have the money for it and if you are isolated like the rest of us, it could be the best time to actually race and get something.

Heh yeah, I've seen way worse fees. To be sure, now people are wisening up and leaving those services that charge such high withdrawals. I still don't get why more services don't slowly upgrade to Segwit compatible, and then native bech32 and then look into Lightning support.

I know it's a pain and a bitch but I've seen providers who already made the switch and the fees are kept to a min. Can you imagine Coinbase only last week did batching, for example?

but 5000 satoshi is 30 cents or something now. It's low compared to others for sure, but when was the last time any of us paid even 1k satoshi for fees on a normal day? Even with current congestion I get away with less than 10 cents.

P.S. Not a criticism at all, but one day I hope to start seeing better upgrades from all bitcoin services =)
