I just noticed the 100$ wager to chat has gone up to $500.. wtf is up with that? The whole idea with the chat is to keep people on the site and for them to socialize. (building a community) Now you restrict the chat section to a small amount of whales and the old regulars will leave the site.

Yes, the chat may become a bit spammy sometimes, but it is really not that bad. The chat has become a VIP area now and that is just ridiculous. Take away the "rain" bot and you will get rid of most of the spammers... that is the real problem. 

It went up from 100 to 500 because there was a lot of spammers, and even though I agree that the chat should be a place where people communicate with each other and bond together over the love of gambling and talk, if there is zero that means people will spam there and would create a big trouble, now that 100 dollars has been there for a long time, they have moved it to 500 in order to make sure people who played 100 dollars and stopped just so they can chat and take advantage of rains wouldn't be available and people who continue to gamble will have a chance to speak anyway.

However if there is so much request at chat that doesn't have a trouble, I think there could be levels of chat. Like a chat room where anyone can speak even without betting 1 dollar, one where it is 100 dollars min, one where it is 500 and continues like that bigger and bigger.

Yeah... assuming that you're just playing one of the originals, the most house edge that you're going to face is less than $15 in total losses (2.74% on Blue Samurai). If you wanted to minimize the cost of chatting you could even drop that down to less than $3 by playing Blackjack.

The total wager amounts, people overestimate them way too much.

You need to look the statistical loss by multiplying the house edge of your favored games with the requirements.

Believe it or not that payout on 5x wilds will not have much impact on house edge because it is such a rare outcome. Most slot games will cap out these rare payouts because otherwise someone could put $1 in and take $1 billion out  .  I can look into the exact payout formula, we actually incorrectly advertised this edge as 2.7% for many months but after running many millions of round simulations we found it to be lower and adjusted accordingly.

As far as I understand, (0.000000060222824% x 10,000) is only one addend from formula to calculate the house edge, which looks like this:

(0.000000060222824% x 10,000) + ([probability of hitting combination A] x [payout for combination A]) + ([probability of hitting combination B] x [payout for combination B]) + ... = House Edge

Also the possibility of hitting 3 Scatterts, and getting 15 free spins, with which you can win from 10x to 300x of your wager, and much more in some cases, must be taken into account somehow, but I can't imagine how this addend should look like.

Overall I think it's impossible to say exactly what is the House Edge for this game, but it can be estimated, with a good degree of precision, with many millions of round simulations.

I consider myself as small gambler who bet small amount on every bet. Real small gambler (who want to play with their own deposit) wont really care about this requirement.
Small players should focus on betting with their own style and limit without focusing to wager in order to be able to chat.
Sooner or later small gambler will wager $500 even if they bet few cents only every bet.
Unless the main purpose for the gambler is just to chat to get rains/tips for free, then it will be like a very hard thing to do.

Listen, let's be realistic here..... a small time gambler are not going to spend $100s of Dollars to wager $500 ....just to be able to make use of the rain/tips in the chat channel. Most of those tips goes back into the site in any way, so they are not losing a cent. (If the gambler giving the tips are not gambling it himself, then the person receiving the tips will gamble it away on the site.)

I can see that the spamming in the chat channel could become an issue, but a lot of the popular characters in the chat channel before the $500 increase are gone now. (The channel is a community thing... some people stay longer because they enjoy the company... especially in these times where people are in lockdown)

I know I am one of the people who used to go to Brick n Mortar casinos.. just to make conversations with strangers and even to make some friends. We even made arrangements to meet every Friday and Saturday to gamble together... even if we were not friends outside of the casino scene.

You may say that you could potentially lose 3-20 dollars while getting there and that may not be a lot of money to you, and usually not a huge amount to other people as well, but to some people that is still a big amount, specially losing 20 bucks, but more importantly and the main reason, you could totally lose a lot more, you are not betting guaranteed, maybe you will bet a bit more riskier and lose a lot more, like 100-200 dollars until you reach 500, and that is like a salary in some nations. This is why I believe there is this situation where people from very very poor countries could have trouble reaching that 500 level.

By wagering 500$, you can potentially loose 500$... All bets that you place can be lost, even the ones with an odd of 1.01.

EV of $500 wager on dice is a whopping $5. That's not asking for a lot especially since it's wagered amount and deposit size/bet size/etc.

Just to say also that I do not think this is a big amount, I chat on another site as well where there is rain and I do not get much of it if anything, and I am a mid-level gambler. I never understood the rains to be honest. If you can gamble to level 10 or 20 or whatever,,, then you clearly do not need the rain, whereas those who seem to want it the most are level 0 or 1, and then they flood the chat. I hardly chat anymore these days because it is crazy to even try to read.

I had notified the owner of the site about this and they just simply said ignore that post.
So I am under the influence that the post is not from the original user of the account because they would know the risks of trying to sell their high profile account as it would more likely perma-banned from the site. So it would be an empty account the buyer would not be able to use.
Hence the forum user only registered using this name to scam some unknowing person who would want to actually buy this account.
Which is already a well known one on the site as a diamond vip player/high profile.

I dont think it will damage Stake, there must be something like miscommunication on this offer. As confirmed and stated by one of Stake's representative on that thread as you can read here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5261669.msg54790706#msg54790706 It is stated that the offer is subject to change at anytime, so probably because the offer does not give the best result for Stake then they decide to stop it earlier. The mistake in this case is that bitedge as the affiliation did not write this term on his website so anyone who participating are expecting to have full 40 days reload and do not know that the offer may stop at anytime. Other mistake is that bitedge is not even replying to those who are complaining.
