That's correct, you can play without KYC. Just create an account, and you are good to go. However, if you are a gambler risking a significant amount, I suggest that you follow the KYC process so you'll get your account secured. It is a temporary requirement that only new users have to do KYC but in future, I believe there will be mandatory KYc for all users, old and new users. Because KYC is part of AML and Stake.com as well as other gambling platforms will be targets of governments, DOJ and to avoid problems, they will force all users to complete KYC. Else users can decide to leave and find other platforms to use.

Like on centralized exchanges, to fulfill request from governments, mandatory KYC on all users is enforced by centralized exchanges. They don't exclude old users from mandatory KYC.

I think that needs to be confirmed, as I don't think there's an exemption to the rules. Just like an exchange, if you can trade without a KYC and then eventually the exchange requires everyone to pass the KYC, then it should be addressed to all users, not just the new ones. The same goes for the casino. Although I haven't followed a lot about the KYC update since I have not faced any problem gambling without KYC, this is the kind of logic I think. So I want to know if someone new here who has registered in the casino was able to play without a KYC, or not anymore.

Stake has four levels of a simple KYC verification process. The time for the processing of summited KYC will depend on the level you want to undergo. However, I don't think it will take so much time to go through this process and get approval if you submit the right documents using the stipulated format. The reason why some customers might have some hitches and face delayed approval is that they didn't follow the right procedures. But you don't need to go through the entire four levels to start depositing, playing, and withdrawing from your Stake account. Everything has changed now and will not be the same as a few years ago whereas we can playing gambling or trading in the exchanges without pass the KYC.
