How about we just say, 'don't bet what you're not willing to lose', rather than bring about strategies?

Right... house edge was an aside - a secondary point, to note how ignorant gamblers are of the games and RTP.

If gamblers expect long alternating black/red, Martingale is good; conversely, if they expect long streak black/red, Paroli is better. If they don't want to risk anything, don't play.

That's the whole point: rather than tell them a strategy is better because of x or y, you go down a level and bring about the fundamental concept: that there is always a possibility of a loss, and that strategies are algorithms that are still limited to the mechanics of the game.

If gamblers expect long alternating black/red, Martingale is good; conversely, if they expect long streak black/red, Paroli is better. If they don't want to risk anything, don't play.

Wrong. House edge matters in literally every single bet. For example, if you placed a bet on Dice using a x2 multiplier, the house edge cuts your winning percentile from 50% to a lower figure thus affecting the outcome.

Also, using progression strategies after certain patterns is basically gamblers fallacy. The bets are completely independent of each other which is why none of these strategies help in the long term.

Wow, that's a 2012 game and still uses flash player. Yeah, the old game is more interactive than the newer Back to Venus, but the graphic is still low-res.

It's only a small percentage though while it could affect the outcome of your bets it won't matter that much unless you're going to make a lot of bets.

Right now this is serious problem for many members and stake is really doing good for this community and punters hopefully others will also have some good idea from here and they will bring fees less which surely could be affordable for all members and site.

That small percentage makes a huge difference actually. Whether you place many bets at once or just a couple of bets over a long period, the outcome will be the same.

This is why they say that the house always wins in the long term and that is how they keep their business alive. Without the house edge, casinos cannot survive since they would go bankrupt very quickly.

Pungopete miscalculated by thinking it is 0.0005 BTC when it is actually 0.00005 BTC which is 56 cents currently and that is literally negligible. This is easily one of the biggest plus points related to Stake.

As far as anyone is concerned, or rather - as far as anyone should be concerned, if you place a bet while incurring an edge, then you have already lost even before the result has come.

From a wave-collapse model, your average expectation is negative! If you were a 5D entity and could collect all the various manifestations of your person after each possible result of any given bet with a house edge, what you would find if you were to sum the winnings from all of those timelines is that it's actually less than what the collective started with, prior to the bet. Volatility is one thing, but never delude yourself when you gamble by saying, "there's a chance I can win."

It's true. There's a chance you can win, but the odds are against you. There's also a chance you can win the lottery, or a chance that you can win a jackpot.
