I just read an article had a good review for utrust. I advise everybody to give it a ten minute Smiley

https://medium.com/@cointrackr/utrust-8e814a2dbedb

Very thorough review and in summary:

Scores
Idea: 10/10
Team: 9/10
Tangibility: 4/10
Marketing: 8/10
Branding: 7/10
Community: 10/10

We are therefore giving UTRUST a 8.0/10.

Nice score.

That score works for me, its good to read about negatives sides also since as an investor, you have to know the whole story. I still believe, the positive beats the negative by a lot so this just made me feel more certain about Utrust.

I had to look up Tangibility since it scores 4/10

"A tangible asset is an asset that has a physical form. Tangible assets include both fixed assets, such as machinery, buildings and land, and current assets, such as inventory. The opposite of a tangible asset is an intangible asset."

UTRUST - How does it work?

UTRUST is a revolutionary payment platform that empowers buyers to pay with cryptocurrencies while providing a groundbreaking purchase protection mechanism.

Agreed, and i never understand why people are complaining of dumping... it's like distributing cheap tokens. Never complain if something is cheap.

Warren Buffett warned "You pay a very high price in the stock market for a cheery consensus." In other words, if everyone agrees with your investment decision, then it's probably not a good one.

So I agree, if Utrust tokens gets dumped after ICO, it doesn't mean this is bad, it is an opportunity.

Sell the hype, buy the despair is one of the best advices i've got in trading. So i kinda agree with Buffett

Baron Rothschild, an 18th century British nobleman and member of the Rothschild banking family, is credited with saying that: "The time to buy is when there's blood in the streets."

This is another nice example of why cheap tokens are not bad

The fundamental challenge is that there is no way to know if a token is cheap or expensive. The price can be lower but still very expensive. The reason for this is the current state of the technology, adoption and ecosystem.

Exactly,  But this applies to every coin / token with a value for example btc seems expensive right now but maybe in 5 years we will laugh at this price,  $6000.

Agree, a few months ago, we called $4000 as the ATH of BTC.
But now we can even say that $5000-5500 is the dip/bottom.

We fully believe in this project and that it fills a big gap in this market. There is no commercial use for cryptocurrencies without a 3rd party service mediator such as UTRUST. Traditional online payment systems... This idea itself is enough explanation. A coin without a use case and circulation is a dead coin

Well bitcoin does not have a car use other than being a coin, but it has circulation, utrust can't be only a coin to trade, but according to the whitepaper is a token that will rise in price for the scarcity and for being backed by the platform, but i still don't know what to do with utrust once I have it, so I imaging that utrust will make some kind of discounts or give incentives to use utrust instead of other altcons.
Bitcoin is the father of crpyto that being used as a currency, the oldest so it has the biggest blockchain and the most trusted because almost everyone more know bitcoin than altcoin/token (BTC dominance : 56.9%)
So altcoin/token like utrust should have more value to be better known to people.

Do you think Bitcoin will succeed as a currency? I think it is better as store of value, and let other faster/cheaper fee's coins take the currency role

I don't think it is a good idea use bitcoin as a currency due to high transfer fees. Yes, it can be used with large transactions but for smaller ones fees are huge.

The ratio between transaction fees and the amount you have to pay has to be reasonable. And, as you said, to pay small amounts in Bitcoin makes no sense because the transaction fees would be almost as much as the amount you pay. I still hope for IOTA in that matter.

Thats why I think store of value is a better function for Bitcoin. Like Gold is store of value too. Interesting blogpost about this is :

I came across this article: https://smarticoinvestor.com/utrust-ico/

Here is the conclusion;
I was pretty excited for Monetha, but UTrust appears to have solved a lot of the issues which I didn’t even realize they had at their core. I had a really great interview with Nuno, he was very, very open about the project and answered all of my questions. I think the project actually has merit because of it’s applicability in the space. While I may wish that the token would have more use, its not a traditional ecosystem to have a token. I’m extremely interested to see how their token sale goes and will probably be taking part.

This is a review of someone that gave his vision about what he thinks of Utrust, so its not just a summary of the whitepaper

i don t know, never hold a token so long time the average is 6 months if the project is valid, anyway i believe that utrust becomes a leader in online payments and replaces paypal at the top in about 2 years...

Is there a reason behind registering in Switzerland? Why would they register in Switzerland if the devs are from Portugal, could it be tax related?

That is correct! We are aiming to have some merchants implement UTRUST by the end of the year to slowly scale up our platform.

You already have arragements wih some merchants? I understand correctly? Its a big merchants?  Roll Eyes

As far as I know the beta platform won't be released next year. So it would be doubtful to have already big merchants onboard.

We are actually onboarding the first merchants in the end of December 2018! Ahead of schedule!

What do you mean with onboarding the first merchants? Will they have a working platform to pay on their sites with UTrust at the end of next year?

I thought the first platform test for merchants is already planned for Q2 2018.

I think this is a mistake, its mean in December 2017 may be.

Implementing a platform for private testing isn't same as public launch. But who knows. Maybe they are ahead of the schedule. That would mean some panic fear of missing out type of investing. Just think about that Wink
