Why would this be good news, on the other hand why would it be bad news? It is simply news Bitcoin integration into society is not going to be made through Uber. Also it shouldn't make any difference to us one way or another about the integration of Bitcoin into anything. We are making thousands of dollars every day based on investments through cryptocurrency who cares whether a & online taxi cab companies accepting Bitcoin?
I think the good news they are referring is that BTC will soon be a household term through all these promotion. Its everyone's concern I guess as we are also concern of its value. This is no different to the mobile companies developing apps and accepting crypto tokens. |

so this apps will allow bitcoiners to give tips for the drivers who will served a convenient way for them, but it is not the way of paying the service itself right? let see how this tweets will bring up something for both btc and uber system. I think it is not a good idea, well before you are going to send money through lke this system you must use your gadget specifically your smartphones right? I think it is nt a good idea in the sense it may tempt people inside that uber or the driver itself , crimes may start , so I think when into like this kind of transaction paper money is a best way to pay, its easy as giving a paper then go unlike paying using bitcoin. |

Maybe not Uber, but some company will open a business with a taxi, which you could pay only by cryptocurrencies. I think is popular now is Car Taxi  |

Lets all wait and see on how the promoters and developers want to make that a reality maybe one day, I can get to ride in one and pay with crypto. I rode with Uber some days back here in my country and the option to pay is either through cash or direct debit from the back account but thats not the maximum options as the driver who might be known to you might ended up not collecting money and collect something else of value. And thats where bitcoin comes in for people in countries like mine where government have not come out fully to support bitcoin, or when Uber has not integrated bitcoin into their activities. What I need to do is just to ask my driver if he is aware of bitcoin and open to receiving it as payment if yes, then the issue has been solved without any controversy. |

I think I will just start planning how to become an Uber driver then. Bitcoin for tipping? Look at that. I like the idea of how precious they are now giving for tips. Bitcoin will become fast in its growth if it happens to all Uber-countries. |

Surely that is good news, that will help the btc market to expand more. But there is a question that uber will use btc payment method for the user to be able to simplify. How and save time? If they can do it well then that will be a great thing.

This is really really good news for us. If bitcoin can be arround the people it will makes bitcoin more popular. This will make trust people with bitcoin getting improve. So offcourse the price will be increase.

Specially nowadays that uber is in demand, many Filipinos choose to take uber rather than taking mrt/lrt/jeepneys/buses because this is more efficient than others. It will also be a good news to those people who has bitcoin, because they can now use it in commuting thru riding in uber. |

Wow! I did not know that Bitcoin is now integrated with Uber. Uber has been one of the most efficient and trusted systems when it comes to public transportation here in the Philippines. With this breakthrough, Bitcoin knowledge can be gained by anyone since it will raise curiosity on what Bitcoin is. This is very advantageous for the Uber drivers as they can use the tips they earned to invest and allow them to grow to help aid their needs, especially the people they support. Kudos to Uber for always supporting innovative ways for advancement and the betterment of the people they serve!

That's a good news this way bitcoin can be more known. It's like free advertisment for bitcoin. But why just for tipping only? Still working out how to pay uber with bitcoin? I am looking forward with that since uber is the fast and safest way to get around here... Go bitcoin!!! |

in my country even uber is illegal.also there is no rule for bitcoin.what a shame for us.uber is illegal for taxi drivers rights it is a good purpose but the solution is shouldn't ban uber.thats my opinion also paying with bitcoin is good for uber also good news for bitcoins value

I think it's a good idea that bitcoin serve as payment on Uber. Since Uber is accepting payment through credit card i think bitcoin must be accept by uber as payment in theri services rendered because the some of them are accepting payment is through digital transaction.

Yes it is good news, if only others follow uber steps certainly everything is greatly facilitated, but it is constrained by the rules of each country. Not all countries legalize and declare bitcoin as a legal means of payment. I hope bitcoin is soon legalized by some countries that still prohibit it, by relieving bitcoin then more will follow Uber step.

That would be nice to have because I always ride on an uber rather than a regular taxi because for me it is kind a cheaper than it. And also when I do not know the place where will I go I ride on uber because it can lead you to the exact place. It is great for the both of us also because we can know used our bitcoins as a payment on transposrtation and for the uber company they will be rich because the value of bitcoins today are tremendously high, I widh I have a lot of bitcoins. |

good idea, but there are factors to consider. if we use fiat currency is actually much cheaper than using bitcoin, especially with currently bitcoin value.

Great news! We all would like to see bitcoin being used on UBER and in various other applications and services. I hope in the future this will become a reality, especially here in Brazil.
Yes it is very good news and very encouraging when it is used all over the world so each country can feel its convenience. so we will more easily using bitcoin in all applications. even if that happens we will more easily promote bitcoin via uber application as advertising and can attract attention of the society uninitiated to follow suit. If this application has a bitcoin will facilitate any payments or all the bills if the tool the payoff is bitcoin. best wishes will be realized. |
