Approximately 1600 blocks left until difficulty 1 is reached.

Congratulations to the community for the successful launch and probably one of the first instances of fair early mining.

Only complaint I have is that it was launched early. You mentioned GMT -4 but you launched it GMT -5.

Agreed. Should have been launched when everyone was told it would, no earlier. I can't stay awake all night so I had an alarm set for 7. By the time I even had the client downloaded someone was almost to 6000 coins. Looks like a bulk of the early coins still landed in only a few pockets.

back to WDC I go at least until a stable pool is up. I solo mined for over an hour, starting when shares were 1.02k, and only made 66 DGC with 910kh/s. I had 15 total transactions, 9 of which were orphans

Same here. Got only 22 with 750kh/s. 1h late because of early release and messed up github. How is that fair early mining? This is the worst launch for me.

This is a carbon copy, of WDC. It will never go anywhere, because people have already adopted WDC.

People already adopted WDC, really? Funny your definition of adopted

Care to elaborate, or you just going to talk out of your ass?

Oh, btw, network hash for WDC, is 1.3GH. I'd love to compare it to the hash for Digicoin, but noone has bothered creating a pool for it yet Roll Eyes

I've added a new p2pool.

Here are the parameters:

cgminer --scrypt -o next.afraid.org:8119 -u yourDGCaddress -p . --queue 0 -s 1

statistics available here: http://next.afraid.org:8119

2% fee.

----
This one is up, and I fully reliable.

cgminer says it's dead?

The bandwidth is high. It will be better in a moment.

As soon the connection flow is a little more random...

For those using the digitalcurrency p2pool the dead of arrival is very high. check your setup please.
pools seems to have a corrupted code  payout is not right.. be careful we had 2 admittance all ready that the payouts were not correct and the pool shut down
good thing they were honest and did a manual  payout

This isn't a business and I'm not trying to "win". This is a community effort to create a sustainable and stable P2p currency.

It is a "business" for people who pre-mine and dump it on unsuspecting buyers on exchanges, I am not one of those.

And I believe on the exchange your WDC are worth about the same as a Feathercoin, congrats.

Mining is a buisiness, for %99 of people, and the goal of a buisiness, is to make money

Um, no? WDC is %299 profitable right now. Do a bit of math, before running your mouth, otherwise, you just look stupid

This is not the p2pool that has not correct code, the payout is given by the stats, however with a new coin  we have a lot of orphans, and these orphans will be discarded by the daemons. To have a lower orphan rate having a high local bandwidth with megahash power is quite efficient. Farms are there, and grabbing block is not so easy.

Your Joking Right??

ok, this was a succesfully 51% attack then it seems and explains why i and others lost many solved blocks... i see this happened when there have been between 4-5000 blocks and if you see he had 3000 transactions that time...

Stopping my miners for this waste of energy now

Failed coin Nr 1000

but dont worry, coin Nr 1000+x will fail too because of ppl firing up their botnets and attacking it like that.

There was no successful 51% attack or whatever that person is making up. People should not use terms they don't understand. There were plenty of people getting plenty of blocks the whole way through.

All coins have similar starts, this one will be the least affected by the early miners, since block rewards are proportionally small for the first ones. It was done to give people the opportunity to have pools up before normal rewards come into play.

If you are complaining because someone who is hashing at 40 MH/S is making more than you, crypto currency in general is not for you.

Except noone cares enough to create a pool, so your coin is still just getting raped by big miners, with low latency connections. So, the one thing setting you apart from WDC, failed.

Hydroponica, please shut up.

You are trying to defend WDC, maybe because you already got a few with the hope to become instarich? I am sorry for you poor kid ahahah
WDC train has already passed and it will be gone soon!

WDc is less than .001 on the exchange, and that's because has been already dumped hard by miners and some idiots are pumping the the price now.

Real value is ZERO, it will be dead by the end of the week when profitability reaches 100%.

Nobody will adopt a stupid coin that can be attacked any time, leaded by a dev that doesn't even bother to use his real name
(and no, Satoshi is history, BTC is already LARGELY ADOPTED)

The launch of this coin was a lot more fair than WDC. In that regard, I like this coin more than I do WDC.

Negative, that is the last place I'd put my money right now.
