I have also added another p2pool node located in Netherland on my p2pool network, maybe some of you will have a better latency with it :
Interface : http://poolnl.bounceme.net:24397
Cgminer : cgminer --scrypt -o http://poolnl.bounceme.net:24397 -u [your_address] -p x -Q 0

I thinking on sharing my p2pool setttings soon, that way all p2pool nodes will be able to connect each others.

Yeah that looks fine.
Best share will stay at 0 until you submit a block (or get one rejected)

Not quite sure why that happens for scrypt when sha256 shows a best share value.

Thanks for your answer.
Im feel better now.  Smiley

Looks good to me. You may want to reconsider solo mining at that hashrate since it may only net you an average (long term) of about 2-3 blocks per day. If you expect difficulty to climb you may find that you win less DGC mining solo than you would have made via a pool.

Thanks for your explanation.
Maybe I will consider join a pool cause my hash rate is not to good.

Hi guys.

This is my output from solo mining.
Is I'm doing correct ? Huh
Thanks.

Hi, it's probably a good idea to put at least one other pool in the .conf file in the same format as you're using already, with a comma between the brackets so it looks like this:
},
{

This will mean you can use the stratum or longpoll from the other pool to detect new blocks faster, so you can start solo mining them at the same time other pools see them.

BONUS 10 DGC to the next 5 users who find a block on the new pool at:

http://www.digitalcoinpool.com

Starts from now - so block 15724

Bonus payments will be made to your digitalcoinpool.com account address.

Is this pool working correctly?
I had 2 issues?
1. Didn't get paid for one block out of 3.
2. payout i got was way less than the ratio of my shares vs pool shares.

Watching for next few blocks. will leave if the issue is not fixed.

Sorry to hear that - It can take a little while for payments to ramp up.

PM me your pool username and I can look into it if you want.

Pool username: celalit
didnt get paid for block 15,797.
Also reward for other blocks are almost half of what i would expect based on ratio of my shares vs pool shares? Can you confirm if the 10 DGC paid to miners finding blocks are from the share of other miners?

Please read about PPLNS http://www.digitalcoinpool.com/about - this may explain the problem of less than expected payouts to start with.

The bonus payments, I assure you, were 'out of my own pocket' not related in anyway to the pool earnings!!

Didn't get paid for Block 15,797 and 15,992.

That's 2 unpaid blocks out of 6 blocks.

15,797 and 15,929 (not 15992).

Things are not adding up. Three unpaid blocks out of 8. That's it. I am out.

Ok, up to you. The database is not showing any counted shares for your userid. Your current hash rate is and has been since we started discussing this 0.000... Are you sure you had your miner configured correctly?

You need to be patient on PPLNS. It has been said many times here before. For example Baritus donated some hashing power to test the pool when it started - he stopped hashing after a couple of hours and had made 6 DGC. His account now has 28 DGC. The payouts continue after you stop and ramp up slowly as you mine while other miners who have left ramp down slowly. If you are looking for instant PPS payouts that start when you start mining and stop as soon as you stop mining try a P2pool maybe.

What about unpaid blocks 15797  15929  15946  16016?

I started on your pool before you announced the 10 DGC reward and still hashing 1.5 MH/S. I can see shares and hash rate ok. just not payout.

And yes my miner is configures all right. I got paid for 5 blocks out of 9 intermittently.

Here are your last payments:

Credit                Fee                   Block         Time
0.5761602            0.0058198            15655    2013-05-22 17:56:03
1.47703644    0.01491956    15816    2013-05-22 18:48:07
1.74411864    0.01761736    15954    2013-05-22 19:44:06
1.80297909    0.01821191    15992    2013-05-22 19:56:07
1.80934281    0.01827619    15994    2013-05-22 19:56:08
1.84672521    0.01865379    16019    2013-05-22 20:06:05

See the ramping up effect?

I will look into why those blocks you pointed out that you have not been paid for.

I am using a stock install of pushpool and mmFCE and I assure you I want my users to do well so the pool does well. I am not out to 'steal' blocks here and there. The pool has been up for about 12 hours, is the first pool I have ever set up and there is bound to be some teething problems. But I will endeavour to get to the bottom of any issues and sort them out.

I don't think you are scammer but you definitely need to sort out the issues of unpaid blocks if you want your pool to succeed. Will leave half of my hash rate on your pool for while.

Ok - I really appreciate the help.

I am looking for the problem.

My p2pool has been up continuously and averaging about 100 mh/s.  Always happy to take new miners we're running at less than half CPU utilization so plenty of room to grow.

Same here: http://crypto-coins.de:8907 is continously between 30 and 40 MHashs. Dedicated Server is running 24/7 and can take at lot more work....

I've just directed a miner your way - cheers!

Going from your instructions +0.00116414 is fine for one of my rigs 2 x 7970, though how do I calculate for my other - is there a formula?

Wil try to add several stratum and longpool in the .conf.
Good formula.

Thanks.

cryptcoins seemed legit for me but i checked my trasaction and looks look like i'm getting 30 every 3-4h with my 1900kh, estimate is about 400 and even with most optimistic calculations of 30 every 3h i get only 240. Pplns should not matter i think if i'm mining there for more that 24h straight and took 3 automatic payouts of 30(too small sample?) from the middle to figure this out, dunno...

Trying out crypto-coins.de but getting a lot of rejects and also this "stratum from pool 0 requested work restart" which make my accepted shares a lot lower than at normal pools (36/10 atm). Should i use some different settings?

I think the "stratum from pool 0 requested work restart" message is normal for p2pool. Got lots of those messages on my own worker, but the payouts are not affected and are at a nomral heigth for me.

But you should not get so many rejected share

You could try "--queue 0 -s 1" on cgminer

or adjust share difficulty by putting +0.00116414 behind your username, or the value matching your hashing power. Se tthis List:

Hash Rate (KH/s)         Difficulty
                 1                  +0.00000116
                 5                  +0.00000582
