Our dev will appreciate hearing that! I'll pass it along.  Smiley
It's secure and simple without all the fancy things that are security problems that people today don't know about or often think about.....
After all... Spectrecoin [xspec] is a privacy coin.

Nice to see that this coin has a great dev who is working hard to deliver some very special and unique features. Spectre can be really one of the top cryptos.

had to reboot my computer. restarted spectre wallet... it seems to be stuck at 99.6% of downloading the blockchain... do I just leave it alone or whats going on?

shows as 150~ blocks remaining and that number just goes up slowly, doesnt seem to be downloading new blocks.... also the balance is zero coins I imagine once its fully synced the balance will update?

anything I need to do ?

Looking for the next 10x Small Cap for Q2 2018? $XBY (dApp Platform, New PoSign Algorithm), $SHIFT (dPoS Decentralized Web 3.0 on IFPS) & $BLOCK (Blockchain Agnostic DeX, atomic swaps)

Are you using the latest version of the wallet?  I know this was an issue with the 1.2 version; any time the device lost power, the wallet would sync almost all the way, but never finish syncing.  When that happened, it was necessary to save the wallet.dat file (which contains one's coins), delete the rest of the wallet related files, download a new wallet, and replace the new, blank wallet.dat with the old one.

I believe this problem was fixed with the latest version of the wallet, but I'm not sure.  I'm still using version 1.2.

In any case, I suggest seeking help with this issue on the support_client channel in Slack.  They are very good at walking you through any issues you may encounter.

Hi dev;

is there any airdrop soon? as i remember 15th october it should have to be start. am i wrong?

I believe you are mistaken....Spectrecoin [xspec] never has been and never will be an airdrop coin.
It is a POS v3 coin and was launched as an ICO late last year.
a new client release is expected by end of October.
You might want to check this week's newsletter
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2103301.msg23100824#msg23100824

Perhaps the confusion is because this project is also called Spectre:

Oh dear. Undecided  Note that we were first calling ourselves Spectre, so they just used an already existing name...  Roll Eyes Does not seem to be such a smart idea.

I think of it more as free exposure, wouldn't be the first one that randomly stumbles upon this thread and decides to invest in Spectrecoin (XSPEC) instead. As long as those other projects don't give the name "Spectre" negative publicity I do not see the problem tbh!

I look at pretty much the same way. At first I was like ....Wait! What?
If someone looking for their "token" (it's for an upcoming exchange) stumbles on our very attractive project....And likes what they see..
....it's worth it and no real harm done.
I just hope they follow through and do nothing negative.

lol, that ICO looks like the product of a random buzzword generator... with nothing behind the curtain  Cheesy

I've seen ICOs raise $50 million based on a "protocol" cooked up in a few hours and some "partnerships"...
Consensys is rolling out this kind of garbage like sausages and, frankly, should be shut down by the SEC.

Personally, I've developed a new "protocol" for crossing a busy street... and need ERC20 tokens to dump on some pinheads  Cheesy

It's gotten to where even a monkey can cook up an ECR20 "token" and people wanting to get rich quick will throw money at it.
Weird times  with almost 1200 coins and tokens out there.
Caveat emptor..

This is within normal possibilities, you just have to wait.
You can interpret it as a brief streak of bad luck,
but it will surely continue with the normal distribution and you will be rewarded.
You can also ask on the #staking channel in Slack

OK when it is "normal" it´s OK, I just didn´t understand why (since August) I never got even one stake reward, then I saw the message
and thought I did something wrong

If you increase the amount you put for Staking,
You can significantly reduce the time between deliveries
and increase your profits of Spectrecoin.
