What is the best way of mining this? What gets the best results out of Neoscrypt? Maybe even what GPU to use? Is there any hash tables?  Huh

Does the project of vivo coins not hold bounty programs and ICO. I am sure this is a good project because direct listing in the market without bounty program and ICO.

You can checkout https://whattomine.com/coins/200-vivo-neoscrypt

there will be a difference in actual mining results for any coin on whattomine, but it gives you a ball park. enable diff/rewards.

Why is the reward for mining this coin so low?

With 15 mH/s I'm only getting about 0.5 coins/hour using the Altminer pool. Any help/thoughts would be appreciated.

Your rewards in a pool are based on the % of valid shares you submit to a round - to find a block. 15 mh/s is not enough compared to the pool hashrate, which means your reward % is probably at the very low end.
You can always find another official pool to mine, but keep in mind that the lower the pool hashrate vs the network hashrate, more time to find a block. Realistically with 15 mH you will take days -if you are lucky.

"whattomine" sucks. it always gives me some stupid numbers that do not reflect actual earnings for my rigs. I created pretty simple python script that queries wallets to get current difficulty and then calculates expected earnings. I find out that it is pretty accurate.

I think that you just can't use wtm correctly.
What are the earnings for 1Mh in your script for last 24H? ~0.5-0.55VIVO is the correct answer.

right now with diff 147.4 it gives me 0.68. Pretty close. For 24 hours I need to walk through blocks and calculate median. But I don't care about median since I am in process of building automatic switcher among multiple alt-coins to hash only the most profitable coin at the given time.
Remember that profitability is function of difficulty.

my local wallet MN says "Expired" every time i restart it... says "Pre_enabled" then just goes to "Expired" thoughts as to why this is happening? My node is operating fine on Ubuntu.

Thanks,

Just a short addition: not on % of valid shares, but of % of valid shares * difficulty. One share with diff 10 is as good as 2 shares with diff 5 Smiley

Ah yes, what altminer added. Just that difficulty is common factor  for all miners in the pool.
