Hello all just wanted to let everyone know there is a new client for PhenixCoin

** PLEASE UPDATE YOUR CLIENTS ** - Version 6.4.7 is now available, please download it before block 46500.

You can download the client from here http://phenixcoin.com

Changes that have been implemented are: Difficultly changes every 480 blocks max change is 80%. We have also added checkpoints as well.

Please help spread the word of the new client for PhenixCoin. Thank you for your support and happy mining!
I don't know if this block explorer is working properly:

http://explorer.phenixcoin.com/chain/Phenixcoin

But the difficulty changes every 300 blocks, not 480.

The block chain is the main innovation of Bitcoin. It is the first distributed timestamping system.

Diff dropped again? After just 300 blocks? Definitely cannot complain just curious if this was intentional? Cheesy

If I'm correct, diff change is 600 blocks or 15 hours, whatever comes first?
Ah that would make sense. Looked like it had switched right around block 46,800 but maybe just coincidence. 15hours is a great fallback for the odd chance where hash rate becomes too low to solve 600 blocks in a reasonable amount of time. Of course with all these great new Phenix services that may never happen again  Wink

I'm not sure about the 15 hours diff change, I think I read it somewhere but can't recall.
Maybe John / iamatrix can explain better Smiley

Its every 600 blocks, but the switch over took place at 46500, but was not diff change point. 46800 was, we passed 47400, next will be at 48000...
