Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

Nothing! The wallet.dat file is important, just keep it.

Ok great thanks Smiley. I read in CAPS somewhere to update the client before a certain block, so became a bit worried

Just dont forget to encrypt your wallet.dat and compress it with a password. I would make at least 2 copies of it and store in a safe location. Smiley

Hi,

My client is stuck with 1400 blocks to sync all day, haven't been able to send payments to the exchange.

Any ideas? I have a 5000 PXC transaction in limbo now, for hours.

Sorry, spoke too soon. Noticed the warning on updating the client.

Did that and it SEEMS to be working and syncing completely.

Just 6 blocks away from a diff change Smiley

2 blocks Smiley

update: from 5.77 to diff 3.31645024

update: someone dumped a lot of PXC at Cryptsy, so profitability seems low on CoinChoose  Grin

I think someone just dumped a few PXC on Cryptsy to get it lower on CoinChoose Smiley It happened almost at the same moment as the diff change Smiley Now hashrate doesn't rape the coin Smiley

I try to support the little pools a bit more than the big ones Smiley We need to spread the hashrate Smiley And it's always good to have low stale back-up pools, even when you want to stick to the big ones Smiley

167 blocks to next diff change Smiley Blocks come in pretty fast, I think diff goes up to 5 this time.
