First factor that makes me decide to sell is when i badly need the money and no other source of funds for that urgent needs, 2nd is when the price reaches high to the moon and you are already satisfied of the increase of the money you invested, that’s the time i may decide to sell and wait again for right time of buying for another holding...
Me too . I only sell when I need money and sell only the right amount. I think everyone wants to keep the cryto and limit the deposit to the bank because the bank never helps me make a good profit.

I just set sell as long as I'm in profit I don't care anymore if price climbs too high because no matter what I do I'm really not good in predicting coins price in future and I only depends on my gut feel when buying and selling alts.

Nobody wants to be monitoring the prices all day with the cursor on the sell button just waiting to click the mouse, so how do you decide when to sell?

If you set up an open order with a low target price, you'll be disappointed when the price climbs well above your target price.
If you set up an open order with too high a price, you might not sell at all.

What's your strategy?
I always doing day trading! I always buying a coin when the price is low and I always selling my coins if the price is increased by 10%-20%. You must also try this strategy for you to earn money in trading.

My strategy when will decide to sell, when I think the profit has been obtained, then I will sell. If I am busy and can not monitor the price to sell, I will set a target sale price with a decent profit, but not set a very high target. So in accordance with the selling price.

You want to sell when you feel profitable. I think is 10% -30%. You put many sell orders do not put all one sell so if the coin is increased more you will sell at more price your profit will increase more.

As you said, so, if the price of which coins you had bought dumped and you have loss, you will never sell your coins, is right Cheesy? You have to remember 10-20% for the cryptocurrency market is easy to earn, but for other market, this is very high profits.

it depends on me what time to sell because i sell it when the price is high and i think it would be  risky if i didnt sell in high price because its tired to wait then the price would go low again.
According to my plan of trading with bitcoin I will still busy in buying because the rate is not too high now and will be waiting for future when the rate of bitcoin will increased up to 25k $ then I will start selling bitcoin and can make a huge profit at that time by selling my coins.
It all depends on how much profit you what to earn from each of your bitcoin. I do sell my bitcoins but I don’t sell them on routine basis. I only sell my bitcoins once I get my desired amount of profit. However, selling the bitcoins right now is not a good choice as the market value of bitcoin is still rising and it will continue to rise in the coming days as well. You need to remain patient for better results.

There is nothing good which you can get by selling your coins at price less than at which you bought them. If you really want to achieve your goal, then you must sell your bitcoins at the time when the market value is going high enough. The amount of profit which you want to earn carries a significance importance in deciding the right time of selling of your bitcoins. Do not sell till the time you are not getting your desired amount.

In my own experience, i decide to sell when it is high enough for me. Because you need to buy when it is low value. And sell when the value is high. So basically i sell it when i think it is high to so then i could get much more profit when i invest. On the the other hand sometimes i lost the opportunity in selling when it's high. How do you know when to sell if you don't know when it is high enough? It's there some strategy or tips?

Whenever i needed money i will sell bitcoins and when it is really an emergency and i really need a money i will sell my bitcoins even if the value drops. But as much as possible i am not gonna sell my bitcoins because i believe that the value of bitcoins will be worth$50k that is the predictions of those experts and they always right because all those prediction come to reality and when that happen i am gonna be a millionaire and after that i am not gonna hold that anymoreband i will sell all of that then i will built my own business then i am gonna start bitcoins again from zero.

Whether price is on the moon or at the dip, that must not matter, what should and must matter is the target. Anyone who is investing money in the crypto currency, has some vision, mission and target. I suggest is to sell it when you have achieved your target and if you want to stay in the market, then set another target from that point. By doing this you will get a sense of achievement as well as contentment.

You have got very nice plans with bitcoin and I am sure that you will succeed in doing so. Bitcoin is going to increase in value by next year and 25,000 dollars is easy for bitcoin to achieve by the mid of coming year, 2018. I am also in favor of collecting bitcoin as much as you can regardless of the prices it is at because the fact is that you will earn big profit with it after holding it for some time. It is never going to put you in loss.

Basically, the best time to sell is when the price is high to gain profit. Your financial  need  is also one of the factors. Sometimes if you are too greedy always thinking you don’t want lose could affect your decision. I guess you need to just relax and sell. Stop panicking it can’t help.

I set a profit margin of almost 8% or 18% and as soon my invested coin reaches that price target, then i just sell my coins and complete the trade. Some don't set such profit limits and they simply follow the price rise thinking that it would continue to rise and suddenly when it gets dumped, then they suffer a huge loss by selling their coins at much lower price than their bought price.
