Thinking of maybe investing and running a linda masternode. I dont see many cheaper options to run a masternode but I am also still feeling like it is a big investment at this stage of Linda when so much relies on the marketing of the Linda team. Maybe a stake of 1m Linda rather than 2m Linda and I would probably not think much longer about running a masternode. Anyone have any thoughts?

How many coins are you guys getting by keeping 100K in wallet for staking? Also doesn't it halve the blocks once they mint coins?

@mvinon just asked (@Lindavest [Investor Relations]#2038) under the #mining section of Lindas discord group for confirmation which you can check directly once replied against-

@Patrick_S The Linda Wallet download can be obtained from GitHub via URL: https://github.com/Lindacoin/Linda/releases
(Once new website is released new guides etc will be posted correctly for ease versus Mega Upload reference)

@CryptikEnigma Linda Coins current requirement for a MN is 30 Million, and won't be reduced to 2Million Lindas until Q3 or Q4 2018, however, the following post was made which may be another option:

Lindavest [Investor Relations] - 24-JAN at 10:14 PM
Hi guys, I am working on a project at the moment and would like to create a Register of Interest for anyone who may potentially be interesting in pooling their Lindacoin as part of a MN. It's only a hypothetical exercise. Please can you DM me with your Discord ID and the amount of Lindacoin that you would be willing to stake if such an opportunity became available? Thanks.

@crafty just asked your second question (@Lindavest [Investor Relations]#2038) under the #mining section of Linda's discord group for a response which you can check directly once replied against however regarding your first question I will describe my own results. Since staking is dependant on your weight (coin total) and Network weight (block size/coin maturity), the bottom line is more coins mean more daily or weekly rewards.

@1M Lindas I average 1,000 to 1,500 coins daily*
@10M Lindas I average 15,000 to 18,000 coins daily*

So far this trend has held up even with the majority of Linda staked coins hovering over the 1Billion total with growth over this past week 3x’ing but keep in mind @100k rewards as less likely daily and more resembling once or twice a week. If you have any other questions, let me know otherwise don't forget performing coin control procedures after a week of rewards which is part of the Proof Of Stake model. (Process mentioned in the last three pages of this thread or you can check the #staking section of Lindas discord for more information)

Very useful statistics of coin mining for me, thank you! I started to get it on my wallet, however, it was synchronized for a long time ... is it possible to download a fresh, up-to-date blockchain? Drop the link

@ACKYS The following guidance from an official Linda Coin Source via discord indicates new guides towards the end of this week will be posted on our new website however if you adapt the following Windows instructions for use on MAC the exact same bootstrap files are used and should get you synchronized within a couple hours versus days.

References:

Lindavest [Investor Relations] - 24-JAN at 8:31 PM
There is also the website and a Lindacoin Wallet User Guide in production for release towards the end of the week.

@Randomaze Please try the same Wallet/Staking document and let me know if you have any other questions-

Thank you very much. This definitely helps a lot. I believe I can start with 1 million myself and see how it goes thereafter. Thanks again.

I scrolled past this coin about a month ago because of it's name, but then came back and when I looked into it some more I like it.  I like the stake reward and the stability.

@mvinon I agree but Linda Coin also has a MN pilot Pooling project as referenced below

Lindavest [Investor Relations] - 26-JAN at 2:12 AM
Message me if you are interested in a Lindacoin MN pool

http://www.lindacoinpool.com/about.html

**Via discord

*Currently up to 18M of the total 30M they need and rewards from a Masternode versus staking are well beyond 65% per smaller chunks of staked amounts.

@findblocks.com

I use prohashing when searching the Linda Block Chain and everything is correct:
https://prohashing.com/explorer/Lindacoin/

@BobTrade

I would ask the Staking or Wallet groups within discord for confirmation

maybe seems silly --

but is any staking or advantage to holding 500k coins or anything below the 30 million for MN (until they maybe split MN)

any thoughts or advice ?

i have about 500k n im determining if i should stay in n continue -- or stay in and get deeper involved

is this a keeper ?

thx 4 all honest opinions

I have given a look at the new Linda Twitter bounty, but 1 coin per tweet - which is half a cent at today's price - is not a very motivating bounty Cheesy With a lot of effort you can earn up to 5-10 cents a day. Wow. Almost like ETHLend's twitter bounty - in the first to weeks the reward per each tweet was 2500 LEND which at today's price is 487$.
BTW the system of tracking with only 4 numbers makes it certain that if there are several hundreds of people who join the bounty, many will have the same numbers and so many will not get paid.
Who has designed this bounty campaign? LoL.

Wow!! I guess clearly you didn't understand the power of twitter bounty? LindaCoin Bounty has 1 coin per tweet and you just completely copy a structured composed tweet and paste it in as reply of any #XVG #VergeCurrency tweets for exposures (up to 100k Linda coin giving away). that will take you approx. of 3 secs to copy and paste per reply. If successful, that 1 coin might become 25 cents per coin or more which you can calculate. This campaign is design to spread the word to XVG people and tell them there's huge room to grow in LindaCoin not just twit without followers. Also, adding the last 4 is not just numbers but characters. There's a lot of combinations with just 4 characters. Clearly you didn't read the instructions.

Incase you want to read it. Here it is.

https://steemit.com/twitter/@crypto86/twitter-bounty-linda-coin-bounty

If it will take me 3 seconds for every tweet this makes 20 tweets a minute (supposing that I can keep that rhythm) which at today's price translates into 7 cents ($0,003594 USD per coin). If I can keep making 1 tweet every 3 second for one hour (becoming like Charlie Chaplin in Modern Times) I will earn 4.2$ an hour (probably less than Charlie Chaplin). You mention that one day 1 coin may be 25 cents instead of 0.35 cents like now - well, in this case I'd rather buy 5$ worth of LINDA on an exchange and save one hour of frantic work. I'm still convinced you could have designed this Twitter campaign in a more attractive way Smiley

@invisiblefriend321

Please see my prior postings which will give you an idea as to rewards:

But you can roughly average when staking

@1M Lindas I average 1,000 to 1,500 coins daily*
@10M Lindas I average 15,000 to 18,000 coins daily*

Versus a Masternode yielding 135,000 to 140,000 Lindas daily*

Funny math turns out) Twitter posts really cost very little, getting a few Satoshi for 1 post looks not so inspiring, but if you take it for perspective and further growth of this coin, then you get good investments of your time and strength

@messcrypto Your Wallet Weight and Network weight will determine ability to stake please consult the community discord group (Staking and Wallets) outlining the correct coin control parameters.

-Max

You can also ref the Linda Staking document found <https://www.dropbox.com/s/g64zj9iy7163n3c/Staking%20Tutorial.docx?dl=0>

Most people will do coin control as soon as they get a stake, coin control will take all your coins and set it as one input so your weight in the network is higher resulting in a better chance to get more stakes/getting stakes more often.

Right now everytime you get a stake your pot will be split up so if you have 1 million coins, after you get a 100k stake, the amount you are staking is two 550k inputs not 1.1 million.

1. Go to settings -> Options -> Display -> enable coin control.
2. Go to the send tab and click inputs.
3. Select all coins you have and click ok.
4. Copy and paste your wallet address from receive coins tab..
5. Enter in the after fee amount and hit send.
6. Your coins should be staking as one input now.

Source: Feng from Discord Official Channel

I followed this but nothing seems stacking.. I will wait a bit more
