There are a lot of resources for people who'd like to learn more about Bitcoin.
It kinda depends on what you're looking for, as there are many different aspects to Bitcoin.

I'll list a few resources, but I'm sure there are many other good guides and tutorials out there.

I don't think there's any college or specific route or a single book that you can read to become a Bitcoin expert. All you need to do is to read everything you could lay your hands on about Bitcoin in this forum and then give yourself time to digest what you read and at the appropriate time you'll master and express your expertise.

Hello, I've been hovering around bitcoin for months and I want to become an expert in it. What resources are available and what steps can I take to know all there is to know about bitcoin and possibly reproduce the technology involved.
Thank you.

What kind of expert? You mean you want to know so much deep technical aspect of bitcoin like how it works, fearless mathematics and algorithms, extreme words that you didn't encountered yet in your life or just having lots of idea about how cryptocurrency works including trading?

You if you really want to be an "expert", you should start reading all bitcoin technical stuffs regularly. Not just by gathering information in this forum but you need to explore every inch of the internet to gather information. Also try to look up at the Technical section as some threads is informative. The things you need here is seriousness, focus and of course, a working brain. Goodluck mate.

Well, I'm sure there is always a way to become an expert in such kinds of BTC domains, I know some trading platforms, worthy of your attention, but I don't confuse the advertisment with advice so I won't tell its names.

I don't think there is a way that someone can tell you how to become an expert. You may get some advice, but sooner or later you will have to learn from your own mistakes, which will form your own experience.

Well, some of them surely offer demo-account feature, which allows you to learn on virtual money instead of your own, so that may actually be a good advice.

Literally disagree with you, only fool would risk his money just to get some exp from his mistakes, I'd rather check some others shitty moves(pardonne my french) than get any dollar of mine to a BTC executioner's axe.

I believe that most of the people who have gained the category of experts in this subject have followed a long route of learning and interest in computer matters, in addition that many of them have been born with certain talents and mental abilities that can not be obtained with the simple interest to learn.

Many of us have been learning the fundamentals of this interesting ecosystem, but I do not think it is necessary to be an expert to benefit from this technology and contribute to its expansion around the world.

there is a pretty good and detailed documentation available for bitcoin here: https://bitcoin.org/en/developer-documentation
there are also some additional links at the bottom. start reading them and if you encounter some questions use google or check out stackexchange for answers. and if you didn't find it through searching you can always ask here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=6.0

if you want to make your own altcoin there are some guides: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=225690.0
although it is best to have some understanding first before jumping to the end.

This forum is great resource to get more information about bitcoin, just using search function in the right board such as mentioned above and this : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=4.0 might be help.
Usually, if I have some basic questions about bitcoin, just check on this : https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/ there are a lot of information in there such as Technical articles, Protocol specification, Bitcoin Improvement Proposals, Software, mining, etc.

Do you mean expert just in terms of programming and knowing the inner functions of the bitcoin software?  Or are you interested in going wider and learning about the bitcoin economy and ecosystem?  Trading? Politics of cryptocurrencies?  Using blockchain technology for other applications?
I suppose I'd like to know everything there is to k ow to qualify as an expert, programming inclusive.

To become a bitcoin expert we do not have to go deep into the cryptology complex, we just need to learn all the business on offer and start doing the action in depth. In this case there are indeed some of my goals to make personal rig mining and require deep knowledge of algorithms and calculations, but the most important thing is to focus on the skills to generate income.

I think learning on this forum is the best way for one time become a Bitcoin expert but it also needs all the patience as you can't rush through to become an expert. You need to nurture your knowledge on issues her over some time before you grasp the full understanding of Bitcoin and what's going on here.

To become an expert we need to take the risks and accepts failure or loses when it occurs and learn how not it will happen again, experience is indeed a great teacher. Once we experience it , knowledge learning will eventually used on its application in btc activities.
