At least they demonstrated that they're called SOcial MArketplace by listening to the community. Still no answers on when closed beta will be out though
A lot of us is waiting for that beta. I'm sure they are working on it but by some reason they can't say an exact date. That's probably because they don't even know it. The team still focus to this ico, after that maybe they still busy for distribution token to all participation. So i think many task must be done and everything can't be done at once. Maybe after this ico ends and all token already distributed the team will focus to develop beta app

Maybe after this ico ends and all token already distributed the team will focus to develop beta app right! Everything is good in its season. ICO organization is not an easy task, I sure that now - SOMA team works at full power, and will do everything possible to complete it. and later they will follow the road map and everything will be fine!

Yes soma team is really busy during the ico its normal, not easy to manage. Remember that they have a new community manager, it will continue to improve the communication with the community and he is a part of the soma team now.

for me it was not clear that the majority of the community ?voted? (where is the vote?) was not against it. neverthless, i dont remember seeing an official vote to it or something like that.
still i am against that concept.
There was NO vote! There was a topic on this thread asking the community about there thoughts. There were a lot of reply's and I made a summary from everyone, good and bad reply's. The devs made a decision based on those reply's! Just go back some pages. If you want I can post that summary from everyone who replied! The majority of the users were positive. I think I gave a balanced reply before. Companies on traditional markets can release new shares and buy them back all the time, not breaking new ground there. But cryptos are not exactly comparable to those companies, so the effect of a liquidity reserve is uncertain.

News about reserve:
We have decided to keep that until the launch of our MVP and then we will burn it, unless free market cannot provide enough liquidity to support crucial functions of the Soma ecosystem.
So, does this mean that you are going to sell those tokens if the market has enough liquidity? And if you can't sell you'll burn them? Please tell me that i have completely misunderstood this sentence. thats what i thought too. at first glance it really sounds like that way, but why?!?! hope they will burn them and not use them for mvp or whatever... There should be no problem with the liquidity ... Yes, you keep saying that but the fact is that the huge majority of tokens are in the hands of the angel investors (around 90% if I remember correctly). So what happens if these investors don't wanna sell their tokens?! We will see once the project hit exchanges, but I never saw a problem of liquidity. If there is a lack of liquidity, then the price would rise, and then investors would have a larger reason to sell, and thus increasing liquidity To have liquidity in the market then it is necessary to burn tokens and investors should trade on the exchange.

I agree too much work to do right know but at the same time they can't stop developing the product because that's the reason why the investors are interested on the ICO. Tha beta or at least any demo or video would help the ICO.

There is left less than 2 days for the end of the ico.
Maybe we can see some action in funding tomorrow.

They could have kept tokens locked by smart contract maybe, and then released them or burn them in the future based on a transparent vote held by the token holders

I agree with the investors voting if the token should be burn or distributed, they can also make it as a reserve for future use, the best thing about burning the token is lessening the supply thus making it scars and add more value to it.

If i understood correctly such vote did happen already or at least is stll in progress? The question was to keep or not 10% ofthe token to sell the later on if needed

If the price for a token is $0.66 at 54 million tokens, then if only 8 million tokens are sold, the price should be x7?

It will very unfortunate if investors wasted the good opportunities from a good project.
