Today I read it in their telegram.

Hello everybody! First of all, we want to thank everybody for the patience regarding the issue with Yobit. The current status is that the Yobit has transferred this issue to their token maintenance team and it should be handled shortly. For the time being, we cannot do anything more with them than just wait until the issue is solved on their end. However, if the issue is not fixed until the end of the next week we will fix the issue by our own, which means that contributors that have already transferred their tokens to Yobit will be compensated in full. As we have now managed to get our product development on full speed and hired a lot of new members to our team, we can put a lot more resources for exchange negotiations and listings. We will follow up with an announcement next week. Thank you and may the 2018 be successful for everyone of us!

They themselves said that exchanges do not take them until they burn their unsold tokens. Burn the tokens they can not because the problem with yobit is not solved and it may be necessary to compensate for lost tokens. But maybe things will go faster if they now compensate for lost tokens and burn not sold tokens. yobit is one of the worst exchanges and one must forget it. More than a month has passed and they still can not solve this problem. I do not think there are so many tokens lost there. They must compensate them and move on.

It won't be that simple, to compensate the lost tokens and then burn the rest without waiting to hear from yobit's end, because if they compensate and yobit suddenly declare that their issue with soma is solved, then those who had their coin stuck will get double amount.

as ED is kind of out of order atm, the price of SCT has fallen. we need another exchange. hope the listing is gonna come soon to get a bit of a movement into this. there is like no volume at the moment. Sad

They are working on it as far as i know and it can be any time now.

Exchanges telling they will list it but they are spending to much time doing so.
I remember the last time I read this thread, devs of Soma was said the SOMA token will to be listed on Yobit exchange soon, but why do we still have to use EtherDelta to exchange SOMA? Do we have any problem to listed on Yobit (a small exchange)?

Yes Yobit screwed some things up! Tokens got stuck... they are working on it for weeks now Sad
But there is some good news that soon there will be a new exchange!

As soon new exchange is ready, tokens will be burned!

No need for panic. Just hold the coins and wait for the exchange and trading volumes. Well, of the finished product, of course, wait.

Yes, that would be a moment to party - trading on Etherdelta is a total pain - you know here. Anyway I see the price is recovering nice.

A brand new account posting a next week... I assume you're one of those next-week-spammers on telegram that is not satisfied because you didn't raise enough rage on that channel, so you create a new account here (presumably to protect your real account from negative comments).

If you don't trust this coin, you already had your opportunities when the price reached 0.0008-0.0009 two weeks ago, why don't you leave at that point? Because you demand a higher price? Then you don't have any right to complain. You have your own trust on this project (because you keep holding), and when things turned to be not on your favor, well, that's the end of your right to complain.

Or was it because you don't have your token at that moment because it's stuck on yobit? Again, your fault. Devs never encourage you to send your token right away, anyone who send, they did it on their own decision, and it is a common knowledge to send small amount first to ensure the token deposited successfully before sending the entire amount.

Let's not forget that Soma is not a rapidly developing project. To make a decent decentralized social market it will take time and it is necessary to wait patiently for the traffic on the road map. As for the price of Soma, it is clear to everyone that all the coins have suffered, otherwise Soma has no sense in blaming it. So keep calm and hold.

I laughed heartily. The next week the truth is very funny. Grin Grin Grin
I can object to you, but I do not want to. I understand when there are problems that depend not on them and they can not affect how with yobit and exchanges in any way but they promised on Wednesday or Thursday to provide a form for filling those who lost tokens on yobit but did not provide it. Today is Saturday and there is no form and I understand that it will be next week  Cheesy Wink Grin
But I think that this project has a future so I keep this token. It is necessary to wait a little longer and I think that the team will be able to solve all its problems.

Guys, Why aren't we doing this? Serious question.

Take a look at REQ. They have an official release every 2 weeks on Friday, where the devs and other people involved with the project explain what is going on and what has happened in the past two weeks. Now I am sure that if something major happens they will release that sooner then the 2 week frame, but the CONSISTENCY and PROFESSIONALISM really helps build trust with what REQ is trying to do.

Soma team doesnt give dack about some transparency, the only thing they do well is they post every social crypto spam at their twitter  Grin Grin Grin
there is no road map, there is nothing.

I would love to know why the hell such a big project has such a crapy marketing/commitment/sharing

Good news. Perhaps in the near future, all our expectations will be rewarded. Their roadmap will be published tomorrow, which will also include new information about the upcoming platform. They are on a track with the MVP launch, and possibly launching it even with more features than what was originally planned.

Little strange that people need to repost here news from telegram.
Anyway I probably can bet the part of my soma that we'll see nothing today  (1:3, or maybe even 1:2)

And can someone tell me a difference between MVP and beta-version, that was written at old roadmap?

This. Req is for me the standard when judging other currencies. Sure it's a high bar but what the Req team does is nothing short of incredible. 100% professionals. Usually they even overdeliver. They are currently one quarter ahead of schedule and are hiring more devs. Bought at 10c and never looked back.

I just found out about the Soma yesterday. No Github activity and the coin was done for me.

I've got the same bug with the site. But it was a local problem because of old CSS cached by browser.
Shift+Refresh (F5) made things better )
