I like the idea of allowing people to mine in their phone, but where doe the AI come in? You mention it in your intro materials as "AI" tech but I don't see where you are actually using any Artificial Intelligence in your blockchain tech. Thoughts? Thx

Hi AlphairyA. The mining that is done on participants' phone and computers are the actual AI computations. (These are useful computations for actual customers, not just a cryptographic hash of arbitrary difficulty like for existing Proof of Work blockchains.)

Hi Lordkhain, your phone should work fine for mining. So we’ve added you to the queue for our Beta Release. (We are closed for new Alpha Mining applications.) FYI the Beta won’t be for some time, depending on how development goes. In the meanwhile: (Both are required for the Beta.) Thanks for your interest and we will email when you are activated for the Beta!

I would be interested how you solve technically the mining on phones, and about the profitability of it. Is there any public technical info about it? Thanks!

We have released some of the info you are looking for in our White Paper: https://hadron.cloud/whitepaper.html.

Hello
I have five servers in my small datacenter that I would like to start Hadron Mining with as well as a laptop. Most are Intel i7 with 1 Nvidia card each. I also have server 32 GB 12 Core Xeon processor Dells I can through in. Tons of disk space.
I am currently using all of this to mine ETN but would gladly shit the power to mining Hadron is approved.
I can mine with my Android if required but prefer CPU and GPU mining. If ASIC mining is available I have two small USB units that can do that but I know some crypto does not want ASIC participation and that is ok with me. I'll just keep pointing them at BTC with a 2090 year payoff!
Thank you for your consideration.

Hi AVilleneuve. Yes, either GPU/CPU mining or your Android should work. In terms of timing, we can add you to the queue for our Beta Release but that won’t begin for quite some time, depending on how development goes. (We are closed for new Alpha Mining applications.) If you are interested, just post back with browser you'd be using. Thanks for your interest!

Reached my Echelon 1 limit without any problems. Mining with 5 miners seemed as smooth as it did with just 1. I'm trying to get my friend to mine but he keeps forgetting to, perhaps an email reminder when someone hasn't mined for 24 hours would be useful?

PS. Intel 8 core I7-4790 cpu @3.6 ghz Hello Deadprospector. So your hardware looks good for mining. For your browser though, do you have another one you can use besides IE? (Microsoft decided not to support WebGL with Internet Explorer, so it doesn't work for our mining.)

Just came here to say that I'm looking forward to your project, you had me at "scientists from Stanford, Harvard, and Berkeley" Some may call it name-dropping, but I think there's no shame in pointing out that there are extremely capable people working on your project
Thanks yalla2012 and welcome. Check out our White Paper, if you get the chance.

I was away from home for almost 3 weeks and tried mining on my phone but didn't get on with it. I think the problem was using a web browser instead of an app. I like how easy the Electroneum app makes it to use their mining simulation. A simple app that you open, press one button to start mining and that is easy to keep open might be a good option for HADRON?
Yes sharpshot, we are also planning to develop native apps for mining in the future! Just FYI, Electroneum mobile mining is not actually doing real computations, per this message from Richard Ells (Electroneum's Founder): The mobile miner is completely revolutionary way to earn cryptocurrency by "mining" on your phone. In fact your phone isn't really doing the hard work of mining the coins, that's already done - this is a mining experience. "What's that?!", I hear you say, well, our mining experience looks like a miner, feels like a miner and pays out real Electroneum cryptocurrency, just like a complex command line miner running on a linux computer - BUT all you need to do is click the "START MINING" button on a free app to earn cryptocurrency! These coins are nothing to do with the coins emitted by the blockchain as part of the blockchain reward. Blockchain miners are still vitally important to Electroneum, but full mining is too complex for the average user. The mobile miner is a separate algorithm that rewards users with ETN cryptocurrency at no cost. That'a an interesting information, which points to the fact that Hadron is going to be technologically superior to Electroneum. Good!

mining goes smoothly with Hadron. I am mining further under Echelon 2 level. How is the latest situation of your mining. Please update guys if there are any news.

This really turned out to a long term "investment" with the mining Not bothered by it though, as i from the beginning wanted to be with Hadron for some time. Cant wait for Beta so i can earn some more coins And exciting to see if they will have a ICO or just earn money by partnerships!

It has not been easy to get the amazing response projects in the community. Many people are involved in it, so it will continue to develop at a high speed. I want to join and pay attention to the project.

We are building something that is pretty much all-new. (It's not like some ecommerce site that's been done many times before.) Thanks for being one of our long-timers!
