For me, if I had bitcoin and the market price was falling, I would still have it, even if I lost all my profits.

We should keep calm and don't react or react to it too much, because I believe the price of bitcoin will rise again.

hold still my friend! bitcoin has always been this inconsistently, however it never fail anyone who trust it. specially to those who wait. i think Bitcoin is just preparing to burst in the same exact structure/graph like last year.

If a particular coin you have invested price is falling you need to find out why the price is falling if the case is about bitcoin price having a bearish period then it's worth to wait or buy more because after that price will increase again when it entered the bull period.

Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling.  Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).
If you can make sure that price will go up, you should buy as much as you could, then check the price daily and sell them with higher price.
Often check coinmarketcap, and other news sources then you may have a good decision and remember: do not rush Smiley

I have the same thoughts with you. If the price of bitcoin drops instead of fear and sells what I have. I will continue to buy. But for ICO-based projects, this has to do with a lot of thinking.

there are 2 ways to do, selling to cut loss if you dont believe in your coins or holding and buying more to get profit if your coins are potential. My frequenly choice is holding. Because before buying any coins, I have researched them carefully and i trust in my coins.

If you don´t need the money right now and don´t have that much expertise in short term trading just seat tight, don´t panic and wait. Thjose three coins and probably some other on your portfolio will reach new ATH.

I think the most necessary thing you need to do at that moment is researching which is the problem that cause to that falls and make an immediately decision to sell or keep.
Make the right decision with your research will cut your loss or recover your loss very well so do it wisely.
Yeah Short term trading is a very risky task and many have lost their money by doing it. It could be only done if you surely know that bitcoin price is going to fall down.In shorting, you just sell your bitcoins at the market price and just wait for the price to fall more so that you could buy it again at a very cheap price but if you want to be tention free than i think you have to buy cheep and then forget for some months or a year.

Let's look at the market conditions. If there is a continuous downward trend, then I think I will sell it and then buy it when it falls to the bottom, so that I can benefit from it. If it is only small fluctuations, I Will continue to hold.

When the price falls, I will choose to buy 30% Bitcoin as long-term investment does not trade, slowly wait for the price to rise, and then sell it. Avoid frequent transactions. This is my strategy. I hope to help you

Just remember if you are not keeping more knowledge on trading and couldn't decide what to do when prices are falling, then my suggestion is to keep holding and wait for the next uptrend. Alternatively, if you are a day trader and believe that prices will drop more, then better to sell immediately

there is nothing much to do when prices are falling. if you adjusted stopp loss in a good point and sold out in the beginning it is really good but if not you have twon options
1. accept the loss and just sell everything
2. hold and wait till market recovers.

When the market drops, I prefer to sell a large part of the investment portfolio. This helps to control risks. This makes it possible to buy coins at lower prices.

If the market start falling just wait some day and watch that is it coming back. If its not recovering then sell half your coin by any pump after that catch a dump and buy how many coin you sold before only. Not use full eth/btc (you got buy selling coin) to buy again. By this system you will get your coin back and some extra. Others half coin will recover your loss if you can't catch any dump to buy your coin again.

If you saw market is falling and there no much time passed from starting the FUD then sell the coins and wait for the right time when it is rebounce and put your money in and you will get 10 -15 % with one or two days.

When prices are falling i usually investigate in projects with great potential and invest because i know that they'll eventually go up again then ill make profit. You need to have trust in your coins.

Yeah every wise man is in favor of grabbing s during dumping period because s are gems and if gems are available at low prices, there is no reason to miss the chance of buying them. You can only sell them high when you have bought them at low and that is only possible with buying in dumps and hold for the future to gain more profit. Dump is the only time that gave you time to collect as much as you can because you know that in the end it will end into gain.

Good idea! That's what I understood traders always do when prices are falling. They buy more and wait for the growth. But I have no free money, so I just hodl my coin. Think it is also a good idea.

In this situation I prefer just hold my assets. Only our patience can make great deals. The drop in the price of bitcoin is temporary. Just wait for the second second half of the year and you'll get your profit.
