one thing i just noticed: in the windows wallet, the currency is abbreviated as "IRD", but on the first post you state the ticker symbol is "IDR"..

typo or on purpose?

[edit: typo  Grin]

Haha, that's a typo. Fixed Wink

I think it's important to have a clearly graphical presentation in our 1st post.
Maybe this king of thing can help ?

I will post a full graphical post when I have the permissions to post images. Smiley
You should link it at least, so pools and other sites can begin posting it, at least.

I got some troubles to configure and launch a CPU miner for IRD coin.
Someone has a good CPU miner to share ?
Give it a try with https://github.com/xmrig/xmrig
Code:
[root@localhost xmrig]#  ./xmrig -o stratum+tcp://pool.mine77.net:3333 -u x -p x -t 6
 * VERSIONS:     XMRig/2.3.1 libuv/1.11.0 gcc/7.1.1
 * HUGE PAGES:   available, enabled
 * CPU:          AMD Ryzen 5 1500X Quad-Core Processor           (1) x64 AES-NI
 * CPU L2/L3:    2.0 MB/16.0 MB
 * THREADS:      6, cryptonight, av=1, donate=0%
 * POOL #1:      pool.mine77.net:3333
 * COMMANDS:     hashrate, pause, resume
[2017-09-09 16:15:34] use pool pool.mine77.net:3333 18.220.240.223

Thanks a lot! Yes, we've been garnering a lot of support lately, the total network hashrate is already over 190 KH/sec!

Thanks for the support! Smiley

Hmm. ..I've my serious doughs about this!

Is there anything I can personally clear up for you?

Hey, good luck with Iridium! Any news about a exchange that list Iridium soon?

I haven't yet contacted any exchanges about listing, I'm mainly looking for someone to develop a block explorer for a high bounty, or make one myself if no one steps up.

many of you are so impatient.. I think the dev has to keep going with the groundwork then everything is a consequence..

Thank you! Yes, the plan is always to have solid ground before we take any risks or leaps that could potentially hurt the coins users.

It's because loads more people are mining with their gpus, so block reward is spread between all of them. It serves to make the coin much rarer and hopefully more valuable in the future.
Since it's block 3536, around 330,000 coins have been rewarded so far.

Woah Shocked
What's your mining hardware? You must be running multiple rigs, right?

thank you for the explanation!

Is mining becoming more popular again these days? I stopped mining when things like nicehash popped up.

I like the project, name of the coin and general idea, happy to participate with mining.
I just have an Nvidia GTX 980, but only getting a hashrate of 442.23 H/s according to ccminer-64 (rc8). Gonna try to update my driver.
What kind of hash-rates should a decent card be getting at this point?

I'm getting 2.5 kh/s using TPUruvot's latest ccminer. That's:
EVGA 1080 TI 717 h/s
EVGA 1080 501 h/s
Nvidia 1080 FE 507 h/s
Nvidia 1080 FE: 507 h/s

I'm using afterburner, of course, so the settings for each GPU aren't factory.

That's not including the CPU miners I have running, so in total I have around 3.4 kh/s

There's no I in team, but there is a "Me" if you jumble it up. ~ House, M.D.

Thank you for posting your hash-rates! Good to know I have a pretty decent hash-rate in accordance with the specs of my card.
Happy to leave it running now. Gonna try the RC9 version for cuda 9 now for kicks to see if I can get a little boost there.

I've tried other miners, but as usual, Tpuruvots miner seems to be the best. Let us know if you can get anymore power from your cuda 9 build.

Well, seems I'm getting a very slight improvement, but it's not a stable rate improvement. Getting between 447 and 450 H/S now.
