At this point you guys know about as much as I do. We had a negative balance on havelock due to not issuing dividends via the platform recently. I got the email this morning with everyone else saying it was suspended.
Prior to the email that was sent to investors,  I had not been contacted by havelock concerning the issue.

Head over to the slack. I emailed all investors today reminding them to log in, we will be voting shortly on what investors want to do about havelock.

We've suspended dividends for a while due to working with local lending institutions. They want to see us have a extremely positive 2-3 year cashflow on our tax return in order to get a good series of loans.

Right. So they said "listen, why don't you just stop paying the people who funded your business for a couple of years, and once we're 100% certain that you're a total deadbeat & your word is worthless, we'll lend you money, so that you could not pay us for a few years, but maybe use the money we lent you to bootstrap another loan. We're doing this because we're fucking stupid and/or insane"?

That's, pretty much, how it played?
They want to be super sure that entering into a contractual relationship means dick to you, and you'll treat your new loan just as you have your old one, i.e. come up with a hilarious excuse to not pay & start selling the leftovers from your brother's equally successful business?

Updates
June 30th, 2016 - RENT will resume trading once the managers of the Fund (that's you, Brandon) pay all outstanding debt currently due to Havelock.

Why Brandon, looks like you've been locked out Sad How many month are you behind on RENT? <==behind on rent, get it? I made a funny, ha ha!
Did your bank advise you to stiff the "exchange" your "shares" are trading on too? Cheesy

When it rains it pours.
Hedged my prudent RENT investment with another blue chip asset, Brother Ben's HASH.

Updates
June 30th, 2016 - HASH will resume trading once the managers of the Fund pay all outstanding debt currently due to Havelock.

I'm not invested in this, quit Havelock a while back, but you may want to look at issuing counterparty assets. Lot cheaper, stuck to a block chain, and you may be able to skirt the "not a security" thing as a token sale.

It is a shame how poorly this was run. A time when the housing market has doubled and this real estate "company" has underperformed. Shameful to say the least.

First of all the main idea of slack is to connect communities from different projects in order to increase communication, awareness and education.  Furthermore, this platform can also be used for promotion and expanding each projects' user-base to the other participants of the SSN.

Now with regards to investment, I dont think they include on how to invest. Maybe they're just need publicity about their projects and new ideas to come. Maybe you just wait until they start their crowdfunding.
