Viewly embraces creator monetization on revolutionary platform

One of the biggest drawbacks of sharing videos on most major, centralized online video platforms is the ability for creators to make money.

Viewly, however, provides a solution to this problem with our patronage model that significantly minimizes the role of the middleman.

To accomplish this, Viewly utilizes blockchain and dedicated VIEW token to facilitate these monetization mechanisms and ensure a more direct flow of funding from fans to creators, secure and safe from controlling middlemen and their demonetization practices.

We are releasing a new bounty, it's called Introduce-a-Creator

Many of you have been asking and we’ve delivered! Our next community event will award VIEW tokens for any creator that you manage to get interested in Viewly

We want you to help us spread the word and tag content creators, that you believe should be good for Viewly.

The ideal creators will be the ones that enjoy a passionate following, fans that are willing to champion them but are struggling in some way under a broken system.

More info on how to join, on our Medium blog: http://bit.ly/Viewly-Introduce-a-Creator

Giving 50 claps on our Medium blog will make the post be seen by more people.

The Problem with Patronage Platforms

Patronage business models’ ideology is noble, their policies and method of delivery have cause some major problems, Viewly aims to rectify these problems.

The main problem with the majority of these platforms is that they are still centralized, meaning the platform itself is still in charge of taking a cut of pay, the amount and method in which it was collected being a recent point of contention.

These problems mainly lie in the fact that creators are not only limited in the way in which they can set up incentive programs, but also in the ways that supporters are getting the somewhat shaft end of the deal.

Most platforms only allows creators to make money by fans paying for exclusive content. These same platforms also does little to promote its creators or facilitate community building.

Let's say a creator on Viewly chooses to remove friction from the viewers' payment process by displaying ads next to the video and interstitial during playback. Finding and managing advertisers takes a lot of time, so the creator decides to outsource it. The company who is outsourced to becomes successful and decides to streamline the process, creating its own platform that connects advertisers and creators.

That company is called Google.

Looks like a fun project, but it doesn't seem you have a big enough team to handle it.

You should work better on the marketing campaign  Wink

Thanks for the kind words Big0ne! After the recent team updates I am pretty sure that the team is not just big enough but also capable of handling the project, but we can never know how or when will we expand. Smiley  Regarding the marketing campaign, it is about to officially start really soon, so you should expect some updates on that field. If you have any other thoughts or questions feel free to reply here or join our Telegram group: t.me/viewly.

Thank you Cashwave, we really appreciate your interest. Yes, you are right - there are some projects based on blockchain but from my point of view competition is always a healthy thing, isn't it? If it wasn't for competition then how would we strive to become the best? Smiley Don't forget to follow us through the social media to stay updated and also join our Telegram group for a chat!

Hey Big0ne! Hard work is being put in the platform and it won't be in alpha stage anymore since that version is not in active development anymore. The new version is being built from scratch and it's gonna be a lot better than the alpha version.
