Hey guys!

I want to use a Raspberry Pi, running Raspbian, as a BTCZ cold wallet.

Can someone help me to choose a good wallet capable of that?

Thanks!

"Rig2" should be your wallet address.
Example: t1fHHnAXxoPWGY77sG5Zw2sFfGUTpW6BcSZ.Rig2
The .Rig2 just identifies the specific miner to the pool, it's not strictly necessary.

Is the BitcoinZ community interested in having this coin listed on Poloniex? I was looking at different exchanges regarding coin listing and read this on the Poloniex site. Let me know if I'm missing something but is this basically saying that they don't require payment for being listed on their exchange? If its already been requested and requires voting, let me know so I can get some people here in town to vote on it (that goes for any other exchanges where BTCZ is in listing progress as well).

How can I get a coin listed on Poloniex?
Modified on: Thu, 15 Jun, 2017 at 9:28 PM

We don't have a definitive set of criteria as each project is unique. We listen to the community and select projects that we believe are unique, innovative, and that our users would be interested in trading. We also look for products that have strong (organic) market demand.

Some takeaways:
We cannot list any token that resembles a security. We suggest token devs familiarize themselves with The Howey Test.

The developers/leads of any token exchanged on the platform must have fully verified accounts. Since tracking down dev teams and requesting ID verification can be quite time consuming, this is something the project team could do in advance to greatly expedite the process, in the event we do decide to list.

Note: We do not accept payment for listing. If you are contacted by any party soliciting payments while claiming to represent Poloniex, notify us immediately.
Glad we could be helpful. Thanks for the feedback.

How can I encrypt my bitcoinz wallet? That function doesnt work on my wallet.
Thanks

You can't at this moment as i know, consider using usb flash or encrypt folder/disk partition for security
This is a feature, that should be added (among others) if we want btcz to be usable as fiat helper, as llbrunoll said:
To BTCz community

did you know guys, that some countries in Africa are going through crazy inflation with their Fiat money, and people there started using alt coins to avoid that?  We could try a direct marketing in Africa... because BTCz is very cheep now , and markets could emerge from there . We have to start thinking out of the BTC traditional world. If we are going to be great, we have to be where land is still fresh to seed.

Do we have any Central/South Africa representative.
Any user from there is following this forum

If not, lets found someone. Learn the communication channels, and spread the word (also, get new devs. from there)
Also we need good mobile wallet. But i doubt that we donate enough to implement all those features and spread the word. Look at largest pool with donation, at the moment Miningspeed has 700ksol (from 5msol nethash) and 0.4% donation, which is only 2800btcz/day, $8 per day for whole community Undecided . Maybe we can ask suprnova to add voluntary donations for community, not for themselves?

https://mybtczwallet.org/ is already a new owner - that will not go down on 28th.

https://www.mybitcoinzwallet.com - is old ownership and I'm not sure that will stay up.

My Wallet 'MyBitcoinZ" updated to new servers this morning, rebuilt itself etc, I then sent a new payment to it (address as stated in the receive section, copy to clipboard), but it has not come through. Normally this would be a very quick, is there a delay, are there issues with the backend servers?

UPDATE, The new transaction came through, but only when I scanned for updates. (BUG?)
