To BTCz community

did you know guys, that some countries in Africa are going through crazy inflation with their Fiat money, and people there started using alt coins to avoid that?  We could try a direct marketing in Africa... because BTCz is very cheep now , and markets could emerge from there . We have to start thinking out of the BTC traditional world. If we are going to be great, we have to be where land is still fresh to seed.

Do we have any Central/South Africa representative.
Any user from there is following this forum

If not, lets found someone. Learn the communication channels, and spread the word (also, get new devs. from there)
It's a great idea.

Thanks for this idea. I've gone to make some applications to join a couple of South African Facebook groups. Could be a good starting point to spread the word in this part of the world.
It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

what we are talking about here, is to use the current cell-phone + 3-4G structure (still being built in Africa), to jump them into cutting edge financial world, without the need of old-stile and hard-rock banking structure. This is real, and it is happening.

The voting is broken. When you vote, the number increments but when you refresh the page, it goes back to 11.

true. i was voting in the morning, but still is the same number,11.

I wrote to their support and asked about this problem.
Got this answer:

"Our voting system has throttling in place so if 100s of votes for a particular token come in at one time, our system currently counts this as manipulation. We'll work on getting this fixed but will also count comments as votes for the time being"

So, there are probably a lot of votes that hasn't been counted. But as they say, leave a comment and it will be counted as a vote Smiley

add a bio metric authentication... voting with fingerprint. (lost keys/password/phone?) not a problem, ITS IN OUR HANDS

I like it, clean and concise.  I like breaking it up into tabs rather than a single long page.  And I agree it needs to scale to a single column on smaller screens.

Looks fine, at least on a PC. It's, maybe, a bit too gray-scale-ish

I like it -- clean and straight forward.  Easy to use, no distractions.  And seeing all the links on the right to community resources make a good impression.

I think in fairness that you should also list the pools that do not donate.  List them in a separate section lower on the page, if you wish.  They may not be donating coins, but they are making a contribution to the community simply by hosting the pool and nodes.  Also, the more pools, the stronger we look as a coin and a community.

Well done, dev. It looks good. In addtion to new released-products from developers, you will understand what I mean by simply looking at the coin's chart and difficulty
(1) For its chart: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoinz/
(2) For its difficulty: https://btczexplorer.blockhub.info/

Excellent Job with the website. Clean, and to the point. Nice to not see a bunch of moving shit all over the site.

All pools should be listed BUT, they should be categorized between "Donating" pools, and "Non-Donating" pools.

hi
What better than the other coins?

Please read post #1 of this thread and the white paper. :-)
Factor 1000 between BTCZ and BTC is one important aspect,
Bitcoin fundamentals plus zkSNARKs technology for anonymous
transactions like paper money (FIAT money).
Max supply 21 billion coins means to me max 5 $ per coin, better
only 1 $ per coin instead this volatile gambling coin BTC.
