N00b question so please be gentle Shocked

I am fairly new to mining and upon recommendation from someone, began mining BTCZ an hour or so ago.  I set up my wallet using the windows BitcoinZ wallet and everything is going fine.  I installed the Android wallet and am trying to figure out how to link the 2 so I have one address that shows my balance.

Can someone explain this to me?
Thanks

dont use mybitcoinz wallet, android or windows, there is a windows swing wallet this is better, here is the link

https://github.com/bitcoinz-pod/bitcoinz-wallet/releases/tag/1.1.0_1.2

The google playstore btcz wallet works fine, why not use it (just holding not mining)?

One of the resons i joined this coin. Startup and already perfect android wallet  Grin

Seems coins with Bitcoin in the name are getting severely pumped lately. Does this coin have x100 potential? I see it only has a million dollar marketcap.

In the long term, I think that YES, in the mid-term x10-15. This coin has a good philosophy and modern technology. Everything in the hands of the community ...

The voting is broken. When you vote, the number increments but when you refresh the page, it goes back to 11.

true. i was voting in the morning, but still is the same number,11.

I wrote to their support and asked about this problem.
Got this answer:

"Our voting system has throttling in place so if 100s of votes for a particular token come in at one time, our system currently counts this as manipulation. We'll work on getting this fixed but will also count comments as votes for the time being"

So, there are probably a lot of votes that hasn't been counted. But as they say, leave a comment and it will be counted as a vote Smiley

A new pool has been made. We are building a community-oriented Equihash pool with an open Slack workspace and a bot that keeps everybody up-to-date about found blocks and more. A simple layout shows you the way around the site, with pages on payments, workers and global statistics. The API is unrestricted, so feel free to point your own bots, apps, at the URLs linked on the website.

The Dev Fee is a mere 0.3%. Additionally, donations for BTCz are enabled at a rate of 0.3%.

So come join us, for fun and profit.

Thats a nice idea - just send a humble 333 BTCZ. Out of curiosity - how many people participated? I hope that a nice amount of coins was donated!

I will keep mining on Suprnova. When the donation website is online I will think of my contribution.
Here is the pool with the supporting project https://pool.miningspeed.com, it works well, an honest pool, more profitable than suprnova.cc by 7-15%, crediting to the wallet after 100 confirmations - about 4.5 hours

hi, how do you calculated that you earn 7-15% more? this is just assuption or did you test it? becouse as i understand, it shoud all pool give you the same ammount of coin, different is only a % of fee they have (that is in theory on long run), ofcoure if pool do not steal in the behind. differend is laso paying mathod and bigger pool, less share, more time payments and smaller pools, less payments , but bigger one. and in the and it should be equal right?

i was happy with suprnova, mostly i get more or it looks more. I moved only becouse of community donation. if suprnova had that, i would never leave. most people like to have trusted pool and new pool has to gain trust and it takes time, that miner moved.

i will really like, that you explain your better % gain in that pool vs. suprnova pool. thx

10/29/2017 tested Suprnova 1 * gtx1060 - 320sol / s, 19 hours 30 minutes of operation 131 BTCZ = 6.71 BTCZ per hour.
At the same time, 1 * 1070 - 460sol / s on the miningspeed pool 208 BTCZ = 10.66 BTCZ per hour, which is approximately 10.66 * (320/460) = 7.41 BTCZ per hour 320sol / s.
7.41 / (6.71 / 100) = 110.43%
This is of course a very rough test and counting. In September, I noticed the same thing with ZEN, compared with flypool. Of course, all this depends on the specific situation on the network, but two such tests forced to draw such a conclusion.
In addition, I do not like that Suprnova does not either fight with the possibility of 51% precedent ..., for many new coins they have more than 51% capacity. I think that people working with a blockchain should take care of the network with which they work.
Sorry for my english (translate.google.com)

thanks to share that. becouse you point that, i make aslo a test. i started yesterday at the morning (my time 9.00) and still i have the same settings, so temporary is more then around 30 hours passed.

2 rigs, one is 25% stronger. same cards, same settings, same components.

in suprnova i made in last 24 hours 3824 btcz coins

in minning speed in last 24 up to there stats is 1950 coins ( i am not sure what is calculates in to 24 huors, but i assumu that last confirmate transaction).

so there is almost 50 % different in favor of supprnova, so if i compare rigs and include 25% stronger rig, i get on suprnova 25% more coins... which is amost to much, but i am queston myself why most of peeople want to mine on suprnova and not to others pool, that have less fee, they support coins...maybe is something on the pools... any paymenst. i do not care if i get in 6 hours letter, but i do care, if i get less then on other pools.
i will leave that for another day, to see if there will be the same. i will report tommorow evenning.

as i understand, it should be the same, just different is a pay time, less time, more payment and more time less payment, but bigger. so...but not so sure anymore

i am really confuesed now :S

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MjdFY4oatkKQY9DPKuxxep-a9JVzQmmrOFKtzxBWbaQ has a list of pools that support the BTCZ community

Please, everyone -- stop mining on suprnova until they donate. Look at it this way... Mining on a pool that donates helps the coin increase in value. By mining on a pool that doesn't donate, you're contributing to keeping the price low and feeding the big pool's wallet.

Small pools find much less blocks but you make more coins per block. All pools have lucky streaks and unlucky streaks. 24 hours isn't enough to judge a pool. You really need to mine it for 7-30 days to get a much more accurate gauge for how much profit difference is before making a decision on which is better.

So please, choose a pool on https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MjdFY4oatkKQY9DPKuxxep-a9JVzQmmrOFKtzxBWbaQ/ for mining!!!

In addition, now on the suprnova more than 50% of the network capacity, it is dangerous for the coin!!!
Pool Hash: 3,557.70 kSol/s
Net Hash: 4,208.06 kSol/s
Cлyшaй, нopмaльнo вcё нa cyпpнoвe, xвaтит нa нeё гнaть. A paзницa в 7 мoнeт... пpи дoбычe в пapy штyк.. cмeшнo. Everything is fine on suprnova. I chose suprnova and I have no problems. And the difference in the 7 of coins, it is within the statistics.

Guys please keep it fair here, don't spread FUD and lies only to move miners away. There's nothing bad about competition but keep it fair please, you won't "earn 15% more" on a different pool - there's simply no possibility unless the pool overpays by 15 %. Pools over time are the same, simply choose your preference.

And also that "donation" thing.. I've stated earlier already that MINERS should decide if they want to donate - not the pool.. It's not my decision what happens with the hashing power, the people point the hashing power to the pool and they should earn what they deserve: the coins. They don't point the rigs to the pool for a "forced donation" - if they want to donate, they can either simply send a portion of the mined coins to the btcz community or the btcz community can create a worker on the pool for donation purposes and the miners can switch their rigs to that worker either on a load balanced basis or simply manually for a certain amount of time. However, I, as a pool, won't introduce a "forced donation" on the pool - period.

Exactly what I think. I am mining BTCZ on Suprnova for a while because at this moment it's technically the best pool to mine this coin.

Fix that official donation website and I will look what I can miss from my earnings. Of course I also want the best for this coin in the future. But forcing to use that poor znomp pools with just <10 miners will not help.

To BTCz community

did you know guys, that some countries in Africa are going through crazy inflation with their Fiat money, and people there started using alt coins to avoid that?  We could try a direct marketing in Africa... because BTCz is very cheep now , and markets could emerge from there . We have to start thinking out of the BTC traditional world. If we are going to be great, we have to be where land is still fresh to seed.

Do we have any Central/South Africa representative.
Any user from there is following this forum

If not, lets found someone. Learn the communication channels, and spread the word (also, get new devs. from there)
It's a great idea.
