Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Interesting coin here. I've started mining it but how come when I send bitcoinz from the web wallet I keep getting a status error code 400?
Is the web wallet just temporarily down or do i need to use the windows app?
Its not down, you need to put fee 0.0001 It reports that error when you put too high of a fee. |

risk is of pool owner doing a double spend but in this case with Ocminer the pool owner of supernova we have nothing to worry about,he runs an honest pool and has been in this situation with many coins in the past,still we do need to spread the hash rate around so we’re decentralised and our network is secure |

https://github.com/Austin-Williams/zcash-guides/wiki/Guide-to-Solo-Mining-ZcashSolo mining means you, yourself find blocks. It would take around 2-50KSol to find a block and anything under 20KSol some luck. Graphic cards run in the range of 100-750 Sol each. The guide I linked is more of learning about what is solo mining by mining from cpu from the coin daemon. If you do have some hash >2=50KSol you can solo mine to the daemon using GETWORK or STRATUM. You would need a capable miner for getwork and you would need a stratum/pool for the latter. |

Please choose other pools.
