taking a look at the following chart
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoinz/

it looks like that the last pump might be trial pump from whales, by which I mean we will see next bigger pumps from Bitcoin Z. good luck.

Exactly! However, it might be good if we can take advantage of those manipulations from whales.
You might be right, but it's a little bit hard to predict the behaviours of whales.

Well good idea, but sometimes wallet needs to be unrared?

Unrar> spend part of your coins > send balance to another paper wallet that was generated offline.
I don't see any paper wallets for this coin.

In fact, this will not bring any harm or benefit to the coin. If the community leaves the mining - their place will be taken by others and will sell coins in the same way.

What do you think about the update btcz from equihash to lyra2z? This variation of the zero protocol is much more progressive, more energy efficient, has purse protection, supports both POS and POW mining.

Now there is such a trend that many investors prefer systems with POS. Because they allow investors to get their %  in anticipation of the growth rate, while on the system with POW they just pay for someone else's mining. Look at a bunch of new shitcoins on the neoscript - they all are more popular for investors than the BTCZ because they support POS and POW. Look at the Zcoin - its rate go to the moon after adding POS.

And POS really contributes to decentralization. Most of the miners accumulate on a small number of pools, while the POS nodes prefer to work solo because of the safety of their own coins.

In addition, the lira2z algorithm is much easier to integrate into the wallets of exchanges, all exchanges that support lyra2v easily accept lira2z.

I agree that there is a sort of "trend" to adopt POS. About upgrading BTCZ to lyra2z... this is something I am curious about (need more reading). Maybe bitcoinZ-pod could give some words. (this would be a change in BTCZ fundamentals...)

Hi.

As I see there are 12500 coins / per block.

ETN have 7000 coins, and 200x hype than this, and price still low.

Can someone make me understand how can BitcoinZ succeed with so much supply. if at some point miners leave, you will make 10.000 coins a day or more, and dumping at such amount is easy.

Why would I trust this coin? Having 10.000 coins worth 50 USD ... is low. Or you guys are just mining it to dump for bills ?

Good idea. Mine ZEC, and direct mining time to BTCZ-community ZEC address: t1ef9cxzpToGJcaSMXbTGRUDyrp76GfDLJG
so, we avoid the "dumping BTCZ" issue when converting to BTC.

also, this web page is a great job: http://btcz.altervista.org/coinomi.html

Thanks BTCZ community! It fells great to have your support for the Coinomi partnership. Negotiations take time and a lot of spirit to put forward, but given the community commitment to this idea, it really fells good.

We are truly working together, and this is a real and unique felling. Our BTCZ project is going to grow. Now I am sure of that.

Community commitment is rare
and indeed, it is here to stay

May we all crypto battle and prosper together!

I think investors don't care  whether it is either POS or POW. The practical part of all those systems  for investment  is ROI and  how does it all shake out in the end.

When we can trade on Bittrex or Poloniex
We are on the way to this.
https://info.btcz.rocks/
http://btcz.altervista.org/coinomi.html
IMHO
BTCZ is still too young. We have a good active community, but we are still too few. In the early stages on Bittrex or Poloniex, only those coins that are promoted in big money come out. BTCZ is a pure coin, without prema, there is not much money behind it, they will come later. We are moving forward and without much money - this should be about something to say ...
Now is a good time to accumulate.

Thinks about it like about Bitcoin, but always divide the price/supply by / 1000.

Example:
if legacy Bitcoin (BTC) will be with the same supply as BTCz, then the price of BTC will be today 15000/ 1000 = 15$ per coin.

From this follows that if BitcoinZ will be at some day popular like legacy Bitcoin, then the price will be 15$ per BTCz coin.
Price 1$ = 1000$ of legacy Bitcoin.
