ZCL is basically getting destroyed with the developer team moving onto to some sort of scam with 25% promised profit with BTCP. Not sure what happened but most of them probably cashed out at all time highs and are jumping ship from ZCL. The new BTCP they are pushing is nothing like BitcoinZ.

So to answer your question, with most ZCL miners moving over, the difficulty could double in the next month and your mining results could be cut in half.

We don't need BTC-Alpha let alone paying them. Its not like they are Cryptooia ad HitBTC or Bittrex or Binance.

If they add BTCZ they will make a lot of money on fees. They can go F themselves with their 3BTC requirement.

BTCZ is the best ZSnarks Equihash coin to mine. And has massively undervalued marketcap of $6M compared to ZCL market cap of $245M that doesnt even have an android wallet and the dev team is jumping ship to BTCP a scamcoin that requires one to lock up their coins for a future 25% profit paid in BTCP. What a mess .

We need to respect and value BTCZ as one of the best coins available.

I don't think we need to tell them to go f themselves, but I do agree that they are asking too much. If btc-alfa were smart they would add our coin for free knowing they will make a lot of fees from trading.

I think the PAY requirement is done for JUNK coins , SCAMs and 100% premined ICO coins, such as PAC or VITRO.

BitcoinZ is a prestigious coin with ZERO premine and ZERO dev fee. This is truly in the class of the original Bitcoin but faster and newer.

BTCz is a comunautary coin : no proprietary team, all is open source. Then, BTCz can't die or will only if the community die, this is quasi impossible.
For other coins with official teams, if the team die, the coin die : not with BTCz.

BTCz price is not so low : have you seen the others coins price fall, BTCz price is still around 80 satoshis : it is very good.
BTCz price will rise in the near future, probably in the next crypto pump, probably this month or march.

The Exchange Race has been going on for more than a month now and only 12% raised. I'm not expecting this to finish anytime soon for another price jump. But on the bright side, it gives everyone more time to stock up on BitcoinZ.

Even it is the fairest coin it is still lacking the ecosystem of other coins. You can't expect the community from other coins to just jump ship and join a coin with a much smaller ecosystem. There is a lot of opportunity cost involved.

BTCZ has super fast working Android wallet. Even ZClassic does NOT have an Android wallet. Zelcash is a copy/paste joke by the greedy.

BTCZ has ZERO premine. Many others, even new ones do have major taxes.

BTCZ has weathered the recent crashes and still hovering around the same price as a month ago. Steady at its super low prices of 80 Satoshis which is ridiculously low. BTCZ has 1/1000 numebr of coins compared to BTC so the nominal price is 0.001BTC or 100,000 Satoshis to reach the same market cap of Bitcoin. Even if it does not, it is still trading 1000 times less what its nominal value. Keep in mind on equal grounds, ETH for example is trading at half of its nominal value.

You got me wrong. I am not saying your coin doesn't have anything to offer. The problem for any new coin now is that it starts with a very tiny ecosystem and it is tough to build a large enough ecosystem to attract even more people from coins with larger ecosystems. It sounds weird but that is the case. Nothing against BTCZ.

It is by far the fairest coin and over time will do well in my opinion.    Would you bother investing or mining in these pump&dump/shams/scams below?

The problem doesn't seem to be exchanges. Its more marketing and awareness. BTCZ is at an incredibly low price. Its worth at LEAST 2000 Satoshis right now. It's ridiculous how cheap it is being sold by miners in our community.

I never sell any that I mine. Plus I am continuously buying. I will start selling a little bit when marketcap hits $100M (BTCZ = 0.00001185) just to pay my costs of power and investment but will not sell before that.


On the other hand:

All Equihash projects are designed to enrich the developers. All of them. ZEC, VOT, KMD, etc the all have dev fees embedded.

ZCL started off great but with BTCP they are basically running a weird convoluted, secretive fork, abandoning the original ZCL project. On top of abandoning their original project, they are running a 25% minimum to 5x BTCP bonus if you mine in their pool and give them 100% of your hashpower for free HOPING you get more BTCP who knows what they will be worth.

Most non-equihash coins have supernode fees. So you have a supernode dude taking 50% of your mined coins.

All ICOs are 100% premined scams that could crash 95% of their value in a flash of a second like BCC did, because they are centralized. Kind of like how Saddam lost power, his empire collapsed because he fully centralized his power. That would never happen in a democracy like US, Europe or similarly in a mined coin.

In my opinion: yes! I did not know BTC-Alpha until I saw the exchange vote for BTCZ. I instantly recognized that they are using the same software as WEX (formerly known as BTC-e). It looks like they only changed the websites stylesheet.

BTC-e (now WEX) is the oldest exchange out there (up since 2011) and NEVER got hacked. The API is great, they handled every DDOS attack well, the support is ok and you can trade Coins for USD without verification! BTC-e was shut down by the FBI, because one of the admins might have something to do with Mt.Gox robbery. Everyone thought that the guys from BTC-e will ran away with the coins - but they did not. The opened WEX just a few weeks later. And they are still paying back the money to their customers. In the end, no one will have lost a single dollar, despite the FBI probably still having all their fiat money.

I think the BTC-e team just split up. Some of then opened WEX with all the old customers and the others opened BTC-Alpha.

I am using BTC-e since Jan. 2013 and its by far the best exchange out there! They do not add every shit coin, but just those, which are here to stay. So far, only Feathercoin is the only coin that got to BTC-e and failed (delisted in 2014 I think). If there is a lot of trading volume for BTCZ on BTC-Alpha, then WEX might list our coin for free. And that's gonna be huge!
