The ref program is like a bounty. So you can't post a link to your ref code on this thread. If people continue to do so the mods here will lock it. If you wouldn't mind Thomboi could you please delete the portion of your post displaying your ref code.
We thank everyone for their understanding. The last things we want to do is have to remake it as a self moderate thread.

If Spectre fails to obtain the regulatory compliance they are seeking to achieve between Q2 and Q4 2018, how will this impact the current financial forecasts?

It would have a negative impact on the financial forecasts but regulatory licensing is a routine matter. Here is a quote from Kay, the CEO of SpectreAI, from telegram a few days ago regarding the same question: "Sure. Who ever is concerned about "regulatory license acquisition" please ask them what about the entire brokerage industry and how they obtain licenses. What we are trying to obtain isn't something that is unheard of - its very run of the mill. Not, what we are not going for is an investment advice and asset management license as we are not managing client funds. Although funnily enough our legal team has asked us to go ahead and get a hedge fund license as well" Hopefully that answers your question.

How much of a negative impact? 30%, 50%, 70% drop in revenue? This really needs to be quantified.

I was incorrect in my response earlier today. I should have waited for a formal response from the internal team. Please forgive me for the misunderstanding.
The response from Spectre.ai legal
"There is no downgrade to forecasts. Please note that there are hundreds of brokers that operate unregulated and their forecasts are unaffected by obtaining licenses or not. In fact because they are unregulated, they can offer more types of exotic contract types and leverage levels and actually see a gain in their market share. We have no intention of operating unregulated but note that the license we are going for is likely to be awarded in Q1 (first or 2nd month), not Q2 or Q4. The license grant is well before the platform even launches (we know because we have already started the process and all is well underway). In the very unlikely event the 'easy' jurisdiction where we are operating in, doesn't award the license, then we apply and obtain a Belize license. Failing that, then its simple, we operate unregulated following best practices. Please note, our forecasts are not reliant on obtaining licenses or not. However, our forecasts receive a 50% boost/upgrade if and when we obtain cftc/sec licenses but that process will take time (as with FCA). The reason behind the upgrade is owing to the sheer size of the U.S market. However this is not included in any of our 3 forecast scenarios (bear, base or bull). Our forecasts do not assume we obtain licenses and are not reliant on it. Please note ETX Binary is one of the best examples of an unregulated broker (ETX Capital is regulated by the FCA but ETX Binary is unregulated) that follows best practice but without any formal regulation. There are bucketshops that obtain regulation on offshore jurisdictions and operate within their "legal remits". Thanks."

I like the way the team is not shying away from the regulation issues, clarifying the issue now will allowed the investors to make inform decisions on what they are investing into
