looks like BGRUN was right, when everyone was saying he's full of shit it turns out Baikal fucked everyone again.
This is why I would never buy from a company like Baikal, they are trying to pump and dump their units.
They will make you pay and preorder when the profits are 100 dollars a day, then they produce so many units knowing that roi wont be achievable and release to the market once they have mined the big money.
Such a facade, they get you to pay for them to mine all the profits and you are stuck with a miner that might break even. Great business they run

BEWARE their pre-orders are NO GOOD! I got my confirmation Friday so had bank to wire money Monday! Well I saw on Twitter that they are sold out! Thinking my pre-order should still be good contacted them by Skype and was told to keep the money!
Basically they DO NOT HONOR pre-orders! If I had not checked I would of been out over $1500! What a SCAM!

ASIC does high profit in the first month or so, then difficulty grows, then profit goes down.
If it is still profitable after 3-4 months, it's a deal. Profitable doesn't mean 300-500 USD /day... $20/day is still profitable and more profitable than GPU mining.
Baikal COULD live longer than Bitmain D3, since it features more algos.
Open D3 thread and read about the same problem: they are doing $3-5/day using X11.
So, BGRUN was not right, simply this is ASIC world.

I'm not talking about difficulty or if it's profitable or not, i'm talking about honour, they are creating the problem, the machine is ok and the profitability too, but they are mining with our miners. There's a delay on the first batch (15-25 Oct), and now it's 20 November, 35 days of delaying, difficulty skyrocketting, less profitability 80% .... . I´m not expecting 10.000$/month as whattomine said at that moment, but it's a bad practice to power on our miners, it's not fair. |
