This is just to clearly warn others about this shady exchange.

They've been holding back user's funds for months now, e.g. https://imgur.com/a/w5uAJ and https://imgur.com/a/DNmzk
No help from support, every once in a while there's an automated and meaningless response, which I'm assuming is to buy them
more time to cover the tracks.

This firm, although apparently registered in the UK, appears to be run by some Ukrainians and even though I don't have anything
against the nation as such, if the combination of crypto an Russia/Ukraine doesn't raise your eyebrows then nothing will.




Good day. If you personally have any issues with deposits or withdrawals, please provide us with your User ID and we will make sure to solve it ASAP.
Also, if you have User IDs of the people, whose screenshots you posted here, please let us know as well, or let them contact us in this thread/via PM.

i wrote you this email: I have made a payment on the 5th December which was received by your bank on the 6th December. Please see embedded pictures. But instead of transferring 2.500 euros I did transfer 1.000 euros. I did not think this is relevant since i used the correct banking details and the correct reference number.

I contacted your bank and received an email from you bank that the funds arrived (see attachment).

I still have NOT received the 1.000 Euros. Please transfer the 1.000 Euros in my account ASAP.
I have contacted you now several times, and received NO reaction at all. I really do not want to involve my lawyer, which will cost me nothing, since my insurance will cover this issue.

even after 9-10 years we do not have a solid crypto currency exchange which can fulfill our needs ,
some of them do take money for manipulation by locking deposits/withdrawals ,
some of them take days or months to credit deposits or process withdrawals .
dont give proper attention to trader's support tickets ..

Been waiting 3+ days for a pending bank withdrawal.

I have sent two support tickets (594425) and received an automated reply both times after ~25 hours, stating that the team needs more time.

CEX appears to be active on several websites including Trustpilot, Reddit, Bitcointalk, Twitter and Facebook.

To CEX: Please help me resolve this issue asap. I have worked hard for this money and it is a large sum to me.

Cex is good exchange. Near christmas i get my credit card withrowal next day. Bank transfers arrives usually 1-2 weeks. Only few transaction could be solved slower because cex use mt-103 form to locate the problematic transactions and it's quite hard to get it from some bank. But these rules understandable.

2018-01-04 20:14:00 i made eth withdrawal of 5.18185700 eth to my ledger nano s. I STILL DID NOT RECEIVED THEM!!! Thats not funny and for me its big money. At the current price its about 5.8 K USD! 0x75e7f640bf6968b6f32c47a3cd82c3c2c9dcae68 is this wallet belongs to cex.io??? Because i found out that my transaction which i did not received somehow went to this wallet. When i was withdrawing i put in correct address. So do the email from cex.io says. The hash of this transaction is showing up as succesful. But the hash in the cex.io "Sorry, we are unable to locate this Transaction Hash". SO WTF?

If this status lasts more than 1 bank day, please check your email for updates." however no update arrived me since "3 banking days" and I've already contacted you via numerous ways such as helpdesk, email, knowledgebase, forum PMs etc with no response.

I have 300,000 EUR blocked in "Bank Transfer Completed" and "SEPA Bank Transfer" with no updates for 2 weeks and no money in my bank account.

Their support is saying they are working around the clock and it will take extra time but does not say how much.

At this point I don't think I will ever be receiving this kind of money from cex.io and I am thinking to talk to a proper legal firm that can start a legal action.

My guess is they don't have enough cash to process all withdrawals and are waiting to cash in from ETH and BTC sales.

ETH deposits not working ? I made deposit in ETH, transaction is done 2 days, but still zero balance. This exchange probably stopped work. Social media and discussions are topping with complaints that there are not crediting crypto and wire deposits, also stop withdrawals.
