I think best way to explain it to others is by explaining them how economics works. the law of supply and demand. Bitcoins advantage against gold reserve's aspect of supply.

The likelihood is there will be no official news announcement, China won't just openly declare all of their intentions for bitcoin so often you have to read between the lines, the fact only a couple exchanges shut down and the rest continue to be operating pretty much as normal shows that in likelihood it is just a case of having to play by the rules a little more

That's a point, but now the problem has been solved. China will not do it, a huge people of china have been invested their money into bitcoin, and china is always doing work for it's people welfare then it will be difficult for china if it take that decision to ban the bitcoin. Great news, indeed this is true.. this was certainly a good news for traders and bitcoin investors (including me as well) that can be convincing get chance having more profits.
