yes, people have to do this work for the airdrop, but i think you can try to use the PC wallet, which can manage multiple wallet on your computer

I have the same experience about this binding, and finally I choose to do it with my eth since I have more eth than any coin else, I hope I will get some free coins after 25th, November.

As far as i know, the amount should sqrt square root calculations to receive airdrop coins, the dev team may plan to take this way to prevent some big holders getting too much coins
