Thank you for a very good question ! In terms of payments, when it's online or in small shops, people are still reluctant to pay by card in Southeast Asia. Not because they can't, but because of the trust factor. Think about Europe and the US a decade ago, when internet payments started to be the norm. At first, people were still hesitant to make payments online because they could not trust that everything would be ok. Now people don't think about it that much.

Well, Southeast Asia is still in that phase where the trust for online payments is not there. The same goes with shops that are not big renowned chains.

SelfPay will help with this because everything happens on the buyer's device when it comes to payment.

The MVP is actually fully functioning and has been tested in a couple of countries in Southeast Asia. The technology behind is solid. The release planned Q4 is more for marketing and awareness.
Our ultimate goal to allow payments in crypto will happen later though, and the main challenge won't be totally on the technology side, but more on the user behavior's side.
