Stolen money has not brought happiness to anyone, karma overtakes them or their loved ones.
Karma statements are the last resort of the apathetic.  The people who had their funds stolen need justice.  There is no excuse for why this has taken so long.  If it actually was being resolved the devs would've been communicating constantly explaining everything step by step.

Send all the coins to 000000 and burn them. It'll take care of all this crying.

Well they ware the one of the few sites that allow stacking in their system wallets. Most of the coins ware new coins who have big supply and their algorithm allow to make more of them. They can't compare with the big exchanges because when a coin as LTC, ETH has better price. It's not good to be at the bottom of every coinmarkets list at coinsmarketcap.

Too bad, this exchange was looking good with their staking features and regular airdrops and whatnot.

I had a bunch of stuff there but whatever. I'm not mad. My own fault for leaving coins on an exchange.

Everyone has been telling everyone for a good 5 years not to leave their coins on an exchange, if you do it, it's your own damn fault when you lose them. Don't cry, learn from it.

Even if you could access your account, you can't withdraw and trade.
The message that a mail is being sent means nothing, that is not working as well.

Some parts of the site are being kept intact, just to fool people and give false hope.

The wallets are online last scan 19th Feb http://185.66.140.234/walletstatus.php

That doesn't prove there's an actual wallet, it could easily just be pulling the wallet stats off a block explorer api or another exchange. think about it.

Also try doing right-click + view page source (Ctrl+U), it's not loading for me...

For me it is:

From what I'm seeing or NOT seeing I should say is any code here that actually does any RPC checking of the wallets... just manually typed in some stats of a few coins... and "images" of green-circle.jpg to say they're online lol

Any php guys here can further analyze this?

Otherwise, sorry to say ... totally mocked up webpage with no actual coin stats.

people who have been following this saga for the past cpl of months, what are realistically the chances for CM being restored with our balances intact? less than 5%? or is that also too hopeful?

I personally have seen one scam after another in crypto, and I'm sorry to say, but this one is another to go in that bag of scams. If any of you here know about mcxnow or Rawx (only two ppl ran that exchange), and sorry to tell you, it just doesn't take over month to fix an exchange.

There has not been any progression, except for some vague messages from " the team".  A serious team would have communicated constantly about the development and everybody could have seen and experienced it.

Since nothing really happens and months have already past...the chances are 0% for CM being restored.

people who have been following this saga for the past cpl of months, what are realistically the chances for CM being restored with our balances intact? less than 5%? or is that also too hopeful?

IMO they are not coming back. Even if there was no exit scam planned, something must have gone terribly wrong that they are incapable of correcting. Hence, the small messages here and there to buy more time. If they had not planned exit, I'm fairly certain that they are working on one now. Or at least weighing their options on how to get out of this mess without doing time. But honestly, it's crypto. so who knows.

All your coins are living a happy life over at: http://coinhouse.eu/ https://coinscontrol.com  https://www.crypto-bridge.org/  and various other Masternode scam exchanges popping up one after the other. If you want your money back. These are the places to go to. Controlled by the same people behind coinsmarkets.com and Eca

Looks like eca and cm was connected. On the other hand eca published whole team on website.. so if it is real team then might be good point of refs.

I personally have seen one scam after another in crypto, and I'm sorry to say, but this one is another to go in that bag of scams. If any of you here know about mcxnow or Rawx (only two ppl ran that exchange), and sorry to tell you, it just doesn't take over month to fix an exchange.

So the next step is justice! Someone should track down the ECA staff. I lost over half of my money on this site because it went down right after I sent my BTC there. I'll throw money into a fund to catch these motherfuckers.

Hey all,

Just wanted to reiterate stuff I found in another thread, the whois info on coinsmarket was fake:
____
First off:
We completely understand the community's frustrations regarding CoinsMarkets, but do not wish to start a manhunt on the owners to harass or threaten them. This is not the type of impression Lemanum wishes to convey. Recently, I Tiny_Dave/TinyGuy personally traded under 7 Euros worth of Lemanum to check if everything was working as it should be. It was not. The CoinsMarkets situation has adversely effected  the Lemanum community, due to witholding over 20 million Lemanum coins. This is unacceptable.

The address information:
Bitcointalk user “stoffel” created an impressive write-up, which contained all of the contact details they were able to find regarding the location of CoinsMarkets. This can be found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2185903.msg27944798#msg27944798. The address details obtained are as follows: “Surinamestraat 26, Den Haag”, which is in The Netherlands. As “stoffel” stated, there is a foundation as well as a business registered to this address. This can be confirmed by visiting the website of the KVK (Dutch Chamber of Commerce): https://www.kvk.nl/zoeken/handelsregister/#!uitgebreid-zoeken&handelsnaam=&kvknummer=&straat=surinamestraat&postcode=&huisnummer=26&plaats=Den Haag&hoofdvestiging=true&rechtspersoon=true&nevenvestiging=true&zoekvervallen=0&zoekuitgeschreven=1&start=0&initial=0&searchfield=uitgebreidzoeken.

A visit from another user:
Another Bitcointalk user under the name “Fred290” visited the above mentioned address. According to Fred, an elderly man opened the door and insisted he was not affiliated with CM https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2185903.msg27582400#msg27582400. Naturally, this raised further questions.

My first visit:
On 16th January 2018 around 21:00h, I arrived at the Surinamestraat. Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, BMWs as well as a number of other equally flashy and expensive cars were parked on this street. The majority of the houses must have been worth in excess of 150 BTC! The ambassador of Panama also appears to be living here: https://www.google.nl/maps/@52.0902278,4.3074533,3a,28.5y,297.3h,89.4t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s7WGDGFooFNGWgmnMbvWH7A!2e0!7i13312!8i6656.

Having taken in the sites, I then arrived at the property where CM  are supposedly located. To say that the mansion was huge is something of an understatement. The ground floor houses a private gallery for paintings. The second and third floors house swanky living areas for the property's residents. I rang the doorbell multiple times, to no answer. I then wrote a short letter asking to be contacted, and posted this through the letter box. I am yet to receive a response.

My second visit:
On the following day (17th January 2018), around 19:00h, I visited the Surinamestraat again. After ringing the doorbell multiple times, an elderly man screamed through the letter box:

Elderly man: Who is there?
Me: Dave <Lastname> from <City>, I’m here because a company registered a website to this address.
The website is down, and has taken a lot of people's money with it. Since it appears that the owners of the website are unwilling to communicate, I decided to check the address for myself.
Elderly man: What are your contact details?
Me: <phone number> and <E-mail>.
Elderly man: What is your Fax number?
Me: Fax? I don’t have one.
Elderly man: Mmm ok, so what is the name of the website?
Me: Coinsmarkets.com.
Elderly man: Let me write that down. Can you please read it out?
Me: C o i n s m a r k e t s . c o m.
Elderly man: What did they do?
Me: This is/was a marketplace where you can trade Bitcoin for altcoins. The website went down on the fifth of January.
Elderly man: Say what? Bitcoins and altcoins? I don’t know anything about Bitcoins.
Me: If I may ask, there are two businesses registered to this address <Name company> and <Name Foundation>. Do any of these belong to you?
Elderly man: Yes, both of these are my companies. The Foundation was founded by myself 10 years ago, and bares no relation to the trading of Bitcoin.
Me: Are you willing to press charges against CoinsMarkets for fraud?
Elderly man: If it can be proven that my address is falsely being used, then yes.
Me: You can find this on the website whois.com.
Elderly man: Another young man also came here a week ago, and said he had lost money. Did you lose any money too?
Me: Personally, I have lost nothing. People who I know however are extremely concerned that they have lost a lot of money. Millions of Euro are currently being witheld.
Elderly man: How much!?!?!?!?!?
Me: More than one million Euro.
Elderly man: I will read up on the Internet about this site. If my address is being used, rest assured that I will be pressing charges. I will call you before the weekend with an update.

The below picture confirms that I was at said property. Further updates on CoinsMarkets will be provided in due course:

I dont know why your targetting me or studly, I think you and your associates might need to do a little deeper research before you go around accusing people of stuff, if you want to talk to me, I'm always available on discord

I honestly dont know where some of this comes from, try to be rational and reasonable. I dont have any power over CM, I cant get my money, or your money out, I'm just being hopeful that it comes back, we are planning(as a group) different strategies to ease the pain, though your not helping the situation at all.

I bought all my Electra, majority of it from coinsmarkets, I always advised people to move their coins off, so maybe you were being dismissive, ignorant or stubborn?   Roll Eyes

if you want to talk about it, I'm on discord, as for your detective work, you might want to give your magnifying glass a clean, because forget being on the wrong track, your on the wrong continent...  Cheesy

nice "newbie" response, instead of saying someone's investigation is wrong, actually back up your rebuttal with proofs rather than words on thin air bud.
