It's only really a problem for freshly minted/ mined coins. I guess the problem with sending coins from the pool to the exchange is you have no record of the tx, so if anything was too happen you would have to get in contact with the pool operators which would not be a fun task!

It's too. But generally all pools for now displayed tx id in the list of sent transtactions, so you can easy track it and use in exchange tickets.

That would be a question for cryptsy. It doesn't take long at all when things over there are working smoothly, and it's not just fastcoin that is delayed, I am seeing delays in a handfull of coins over there. Join #cryptsy_support on irc.freenode.net or open a support ticket on their site.

What do you see in the future of FST?
I'm trying to find if this coin has any plans going for it. There is no community on reddit and searching fastcoin here just brings up alot of threads about mining. Google News search shows nothing. Fastcoins website is very poorly designed and gives a very amateurish impression. Yeah yeah this is the fastest coin, but so what? Worldcoin has 60 sec confirmation time vs FST's 48 but they have real development going on and seem to be working hard.
Dont mean to diss on FST, i just don't know much about it, anyone care to enlighten me about it?

Which is the fastest and yet still secure crypto currency? Fastcoin! Consider two factors, first, the "Block Target/Time" and second, "The Number of Confirmations Per Transaction". In order to make a comparison, say between Worldcoin, as you noted and Fastcoin we simply take the Block Target/Time and multiply it with the Number of Confirmations Per Transaction. One must also include the number of confirmations as a security factor. How many transactions should be safe? Let's say for our comparison, we use four, that's 2 more than Worldcoins default number of confirmations, which is still a pretty small window of time. However, many exchanges and online shops would require more confirmations than that. (Generally 6-8) So take four confirmations at 30 seconds and it's 120. Same with Quark, InfiniteCoin and Franko. Four confirmations on the Fastcoin network, you're still looking at 48 seconds. Head over to http://www.fastcointalk.org to see the activity that's brewing.

I found some interesting ideas on their forum. Merchant and trade support and encouragement is indeed our main goal, and we are looking into various ways of doing this such as PoT (Proof of Transaction) so that those who makes the most regular transactions recieve a percentage of mining shares profits in proportion. This will encourage the use of Fastcoin is a proper currency, rather then a money-making mining scheme like most other crypto-currencies.

Upward movement happening on FST in response to the positive news about its wide acceptance with @CoinPaymentsNET. Over 30% so far.

Currently, there is a transaction delay for new users on cryptsy, It's generally 24hrs. If it's been an extended period of time, (up to 3 days) you'll need to open a support ticket on the website. It's simply beefing up security, once you've had your account for awhile, and made a few deposits, you won't have such a wait.

You probably would need to open a ticket on cryptsy, let me know how it goes. it seems they do the fst deposits there manually once-twice a day about 1 hour ago and about 7hours from now
