One thing I haven't found anyone talk about is that from my understanding, because of it's speed Fastcoin should theoretically be impossible to create a malleability attack that has plagued Bitcoin and brought down Mt.Gox. Am I correct in this? Does anyone have anything to ad to this question?

A lot of people think that a 12 second blocktime is a horrible idea but it seams to work rather well for this coin. Has there been any major issues with the fast blocktime? worldcoin changed from 15 to 30 second blocktime due to orphan issues. i made a poll https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=620644.0 it appears that most people think that ~45 seconds is optimal. |
